9/2 SOD Chat re: Nathaniel
Our fellow Marcals, rewindtime and SoapFan1 came over to The Corner Booth after participating in the chat and said there were alot of questions concerning Nathaniel. Well...the moderator claims that Nathaniel is going to stay on temporarilyafter Al dies(?????)to help Marcie move on (possibly with Joey???). A few posters asked if this meant he would be a ghost. I don't recall what the answer was, but the moderator stated as far as she/he knows Max doesn't die.
So I went over to the DataLounge board to ask if anyone knew about this and someone beat me to it:

Yes that's pretty much the way it's going down for Al and Marcie. The
fans outrage had nothing to do with this either-the writers decided
it would be best for Al to stay on for a while as a ghost to help

Since we haven't gotten any type of official statement, I'm gonna
take this with a HUGE grain of salt and hope that the SOD chat
moderator was WAY off base with that one. I also tend not to rely any
scoops from "anonymous" datalounge posters.
was that who that came from at datalounge? an anonymous poster? of course I'm not a familiar with the board over there but unless something comes from a VERY reliable source, I'm with you and not take this seriously. and perhaps, the SOD chat moderator had the info of how this was gonna go down and maybe, just maybe, they have changed how it will actually happen. It's starting to look like the only way we'll know for sure what will happen is when it all goes down on the show. But I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that what we heard last week is actually true.

ghost thing
A member posted at the corner booth that she was the one who said that he would be a ghost not the moderator. Shes not sure what the moderator said. The moderator didn't say very much (so I heard). I don't think anyone wants to slip up you know. We all just have to stay positive. I believe everything will turn out fine.
oh, I'm definitely staying positive...
If anyone is staying positive about this, it is definitely me. I might just be pulling at straws here but maybe but if it's true that the moderator didn't say much at all then maybe that is a sign that they know something but are not allowed to say anything about it. I agree with char that maybe it's a good news that there hasn't been any official news either way.
and the soapnet special thing that aired on mon in the PC timeslot, I watched it when soapnet replayed it cause the Jerry Lewis telethon was being covered on our local ABC. anyways, they had Robin Strasser on with fall OLTL scoops and I heard that during the taping she said that Al dies but that part was edited out when they aired it. Lisa and Ty said something about a scoop about a character dying before going to break to but when RS came out she said nothing about anyone dying, I thought that was weird when I saw it. and to hear that she did mention the Al dying thing originally and they did edit it out. Why would they edit it out if he was still gonna die? I'm taking this as a good sign.
But of course, I won't be completely satisfied til we hear some type of official word either way.

I obviously misread that post over at TCB and please forgive me for my flub,ladies. Honestly, I don't think the moderator even knows any info. This all came out of nowhere and considering this info dropped over a holiday weekend, I even doubt that the mags have been able to gather anything concrete.
