A new month.
Well we are starting a new month and this month one of my goals is to lose weight. I don't exactly know how I am going to do it. I have not had much success with diets. The only one that actually worked for me was the low carbohydrates and high protein. When I was on that I lost about 40 pounds. I went off the diet and started reading articles about people who were put in the hospital because they were on the same diet so I am a little hesitant to go back on it. I do workout. I have some tapes by Denise Austin and The TAE Bo tapes. So, starting this week I am going to better job of watching what I eat(no Easter candy or at least not much) and start working out more. We'll see.
Well so far this month I have lost 5 pounds. I am working out almost every morning and I am starting to feel better. Is anyone else trying to lose weight or get in shape for the summer?

Oh yes! I am trying to lose weight for the summer, but I have very little will power- I think it is going to take something drastic- like dead bolting the cabients and the fridge shut!!
But I am going to keep trying- I would love to lose about 15lbs., but I would be happy with 5
Are you in a program, or taking something to supress your appetite- or is it sheer will?

Right now it is just will power. It has been tough lately to stay away from the junk food because of things happening here at home. It is hard to stick to a diet because my husband is super skinny and he needs to gain weight and then with the kids we still have Easter candy here. But I'm hanging in here. I just keep reminding myself that it is a long process to lose all the weight that I want to.
