An Indictment Against U.S. Bishops . . .
An indictment against U.S. Bishops:
QUESTION: How many Bishops does it take to recognize that sexually abusing children is wrong?
ANSWER: Too many! Evidently there’s not an adequate amount in the U.S.
The confession and apology by Bishop Wilton Gregory, President Of Bishop’s Conference, was an indictment against all Bishops in this country. They were all culpable and accountable for their actions and inactions, that has cause the suffering of untold hundreds of children, and traumatized adults who bear the emotional scars to this day.
They’re all guilty of covering up these heinous acts and enabling pedophiles to prey upon the defenseless.
To watch the conference for the last few days was exasperating. It was so obvious that almost everyone of them was looking to save their own butt. The whole debate was nothing more than a process of skirting the issues, filled with rhetoric and double talk about “their concern of the children.” What a fiasco! And the sad truth was, the on-looking public was aware of their pathetic attempt at damage control and self-preservation.
Thousands of Roman Catholics all over this country have lost faith in the leadership of the Catholic church. The only ones that aren’t upset over this debacle are a few blind loyalists, much like the Nazi sympathizers of old who tenaciously held on to the idealistic thought of a super-race in the Third Reich, even though the war is over and Hitler was defeated. Well the war is over! God turned on the light and exposed the wolves in sheep’s clothing, and priests and Bishops were caught with their pants down. The devil is defeated, and the @#%$ of Babylon is judged. This is just the beginning of the end of Roman Catholicism. The worst is yet to come. Federal investigators all over the country are going to start looking at the financial books of the Catholic Church. That’s when the howling will begin. I can hear the angels now . . . “Babylon the Great is fallen! Rejoice you Holy Apostles!”
