I must say its very hard for me to choose!!!.. I like them all.. but I guest Storm front is the one that I discover the world of harry dresden!!!.. so... *s*...
Won't you come and dance with the Beautiful Death?
Re: And then there were 5 -
I love all of the books in the Dresden Files (so far, and believe me my fingers are crossed because I want it to stay that way), but I'd have to say that my favorite would be Summer Knight.
Re: And then there were 5 -
I'm just finishing my third time through all of them. (Well, not Storm Front. I don't read it any more because I listen to some of it every night as I go to sleep. I practically have it memorized!) Hands down, I like Summer Knight the best.
Since you're doing a poll on preferences, though, I think it would fit here that I prefer the Storm Front audio book to the Fool Moon one. In reading the second book, I didn't realize just how bloody it is. But I use the audio books as a hedge against insomnia and images of eyes bitten out and lips torn off are not the best things in one's mind as one drifts off to sleep. The exploding hearts of Storm Front aren't nearly as bad to me as the wolf victims.
Re: And then there were 5 -
Fool Moon was interesting to me. I really liked the concept of multiple Were Wolves - not just one, theres a bunch.
I voted for it as my favorite book because I love all of them so much - and I couldn't choose, and then I remembered the thrill of learning about all the different types of Were Wolves.
I liked the vampire stuff that was explained in Grave Peril, the explaination of the Fae in Summer Knight, and the (Though heavily Christian) Explainations of the Knights of the Cross.
To me they have a great deal of interest because they are very cool. I mean some of these ideas that appear in the books are just really good - the Author has become quite Creative.
