"COUPLETS" is a literary look at love through a wide selection of traditional and non-traditional poetry and prose. Ms. Wyndham and Mr.Keating illuminate the very nature of relationships, be they parent/child, friendship or intense romantic passion, by taking audiences on wild emotional roller coaster ride. Laughter abounds with the bawdy (Muriel Rukeyser's Conjugation of the Paramecium), the silly (Idyll by Stoddard King) and the risqué (Impotence by Peter Barnes). Tears hover near from the sheer beauty and truth of Crabbit Old Woman (anon). And one and all are enthralled with Ms. Wyndham and Mr. Keating's definitive interpretation of
Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew.
