They were coming to the city where I live so I said what they hey, I might as well get tickets. Especially since Constantine was robbed(as we all know ) of at least one more week on the show and I really wanted to see him performing again. I hadn't gone to an AI tour since season 1 when the date was on my sister's birthday so it was a present for her. I was way more into it this season so I couldn't really resist getting the tickets.
It sucks that our whole discussion from this season is gone(maybe it will get restored, I don't know).
I have been tossing the thought around - they are playing at the United Center here in Chicago - but I have to find someone who's as big of a dork as me whp would actually want to go with....lol
BTW, Jen, did you hear that Constantine's band released their CD? I am curious to hear it.

Re: Anyone going to the American Idol tour?
I lucked out they were coming to my city instead of Boston or something. I probably wouldn't have got tickets if that was the case. My dad was actually disappointed that I didn't get a ticket for him too. My dad was really into the show, Carrie was his favorite. He actually had me tape it for him on tuesdays cause he had to go to bowling.

I had heard about that but I haven't heard it yet. I am interested to see how it sounds. But I think I like Constantine better by himself.
I went back in July...
You can tell it's late right now cause I just posted this topic as a new topic instead of a reply to this one.
I have to say that I really enjoyed myself at the show. IMO, all the finalists were entertaining, even surprisingly, Scott. This show was before Bo left but Nadia was sick this day so she missed the show. They all had solo numbers(with a couple of duets) and then they all came back at the end for a group performance. They all performed their song on the compilation album from this season and a couple of other songs. My fave Constantine was his usual amazing self(though he must have been hot in his outfit), Vonzell blew the roof off the place vocally, Nikko showed some incredible dancing talent, Anwar played the keyboard and Bo really rocked it on his guitar(had to be the loudest moment of the show )
I took pictures but haven't gone through them. Some aren't great but with the magic of digital cameras I can zoom and crop. Once I go through them, I'll post them and maybe a better recap too.
For now, I'm off to bed. Maybe I'll respond to some other messages around the forum tomorrow. I've definitely slacked off enough when it comes to stopping in. I think it's time to make new banners for my siggie, too.
Anyways, goodnight. maybe I'll be around tomorrow.
