Are the Jews correct when they say
that the OT does not have any spiritual side to it? Only the NT does?

It would be extremely difficult for me to think that Grace and Spirituality did not start in the OT. The OT seems to be not included when we talk of the Spiritual things. The Jews seem to leave out the NT and the Christians seems on a whole not understand the OT. Not all Christians would fall under this but many do.

Now the covenant by God to Abraham is seen in the following verses:

Gen 12:2 and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and be thou a blessing;

Gen 12:3 and I will bless them that bless thee, and him that curseth thee will I curse: and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Now notice that God said I will bless all that are in thee Abraham and "all" the families of the earth will be blessed.

Looking at this verse we can see that Abraham's seed would not be in every nation and race on the earth.
His seed is not in every family and race in every nation for this would be impossible.

We know that God has blessed not every family in every nation. It's not worth the time to explain why we can know this. God in fact said those who are not in Abraham would be cursed if they were rejecting Abraham etc. So not all families can be blessed if God would curse them other families.

So "all" does not mean all if you take some out of the situation. But since all means "all" and not minus one then we must ask what did God mean by "all"?

God meant those who are in Abraham by faith. The bible said Abraham was counted for righteousness by His faith.

By His faith we can see it was done before the law of God came out. The law had nothing to do with this Covenant.

Now we can see that those who are in Abraham will be the blessed. This blessing is spiritual and not carnal.
Abraham’s seed is limited in the carnal and cannot be in every nations and every family. It is not about seeds but about the seed, which is the promise seed. This promise seed is of God doing the elect through Abraham’s seed. God said in his seed…. Not in his seeds.

By just using the OT we can see that God made the covenant with Abraham by a spiritual covenant and not by the carnal because logic as I showed cannot show us any different.

In conclusion the Spiritual Covenant first started with Abraham because a carnal one could not fill the promise of God when he said "all” by making it mean a carnal covenant with Abraham's physical seed. God did keep his promise with Abraham by making him a great nation through his seed as well.

The Jews plainly missed this point.
