Autoimmune Disease
Hi my name is Danielle aka Snowi. I'm 19 and I have autoimmune disease. I came here after stumbling upon Sharon's website on AOL. I am looking to talk to others around my age with chronic illness as well. I'm also always looking for penpals who are also ill! Well, Hi everyone!

I am so glad that you found the site. What autoimmune illness do you have? Are you able to keep up in school and stuff? What do you like to do? Do you have any fave tv shows, movies, books? I am on a kick where I think you can tell a lot about peoples personalities by their choices in those things, maybe I'll start a topic about it. Do you have any pets?
Anyway welcome and I hope to get to know you better soon. This site is new and tends to be quiet but I hope thaat by those of us who are here now talking that more people will find it and want to jion in our conversations. Talk to you soon.

Well, I got answers to some of my questions from reading your other posts....sorry. I didn't read them all before I started answering. Blame it on the brain fog I guess.

Aw, Sharon. No worries. I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Raynauds, Seizure Disoder, Anticardiolipin Antibody Syndrome, and now the doctors also believe I have SLE (lupus).
My favorite actor is Anthony Hopkins and fave actres sis Sandra Bullock. I am unable to attend school. I graduated from public HS but I had to be instructed from home by private tutors. I started distance learning for college with a psychology major in mind and then my health deteriotated so I had to stop. My new major is biochem. I was working as a Pharmacy Technician while in highschool and hope to go back to work and school someday soon. In the meantime I need to find a way to earn some income!
