Bad Bad Bad Day!
Well yesterady was a horrible day for me, first I had do some laundry here at the house so I started washing bed covers and such. Well my friend called and asked if I wanted to go the park so I was like sure why not, but my shirt I wanted to wear was really wrinkled and I didn't feel like ironing so I took the blankets out of the dryer and layed them in floor while I fluffed my shirt up. Well then I went into my room and put my shorts on and did little things for a bit, well I went back into the laundry room and got my shirt out put it on then picked the blankets up and threw em back in the dryer. Well I went back into my room and talked to my friend for a bit, she said is someone knocking at the door? I looked out the window and said no she said oh must be something you got in the dryer. I stood there and thought to myself blankets don't make bumping noises, well I ran in there turns out my kitten had gotten on the covers and I didn't even notice, it was the most horrible site I have ever seen, well I screamed bloody murder my brother came running in there to see what was wrong, he picked the kitten up and rubbed it with a cold rag and gave it some water. The kitten is fine now its just been playing around. Well we have 6 kittens all together they are about 5 weeks old, well last night I was hanging up clothes and I heard a kitten scream like really loud, so I ran in there to see what was wrong turns out my fathers puppy had the kitten down on the ground biting it really bad, well the kitten was really bad off all night last night crying, I didn't get a wink of sleep I could have killed that dog luckly my b/f was here and he took it home with him. The kitten cryed so bad finally today I took it to the cat clinic in our town, its there now under observation I'm just hoping they don't have to put it to sleep, I have been so sad all day I haven't had a wink of sleep and I have been crying like crazy as well. Sorry this was long I just needed to let it out I guess, I'm gonna go try and take a nap for a bit since kori isn't here...

Oh my is all I can say. I actually know of someone who was not so lucky with the kitty in the dryer. She found the cat in little pieces. So you were very lucky to find the kitten when you did.
As for the other kitten, I am soooooooooo sorry. Please keep us posted. I have 3 cats that I love like children. My heart is heavy for you.
Re: Bad Bad Bad Day!
I love cats to, I have a dog as well but mine stays outside, my dad lets his in the house at night and they just freakin mean I called some places today to try and get rid of the puppy he was so pissed oh well. I called the vet to they wanna keep it another night, the nurse said it was loving on her all day and he it was purring I said that kitten was special to do those things and only be 5 weeks old is weird.
Re: Bad Bad Bad Day!
I'm glad the kitty survived the dryer ordeal. I have two orange cats, one just still a kitten and they are my babies. I would be devastated if something bad happened to them. I hope your kitty will recover. If you have pics, please post them so we could see how kitty looks like.
Re: Bad Bad Bad Day!
Yeah they dryer Kitty is doing fine, her name is "Sugar" she is so tiny, this isn't funny but it really is she still smells like bounce dryer sheets , I'm glad I can laugh about it now, my other kitten is doing ok I called the vet this morning and they said they wanted to keep him another day for observation. I will take some pics of them tomorrow and scan them and put them on here so everyone can see me babies...
Re: Bad Bad Bad Day!
Well its my fault the kitten lays on the blankets, I her sleep on my bed all day long and she cuddles in my blanket, so I guess she thought it was ok to sleep there, well I mean its weird that I didnt even notice it didn't meow or anything. I have been like totally scared to wash any clothes for the past 2 days I make my boyfriend go in there and do it, I know it sounds crazy but everytime I go in there I think about that kitty laying in there, But its better now thank goodness shes been playing and having a good time...
Re: Bad Bad Bad Day!
Thank goodness my cat is too big not to notice wherever she goes! She is remarkably fat, ask Fi!!!
Oh well, at least Sugar is okay I guess, although mayb the tomcats will find her more attractive now she smell's of Bounce!

Re: Bad Bad Bad Day!
We took my little baby Whiskas to the vet on Thursday...she had to have a booster injection and flea injection. She isn't good with long journeys (3 mins is long to her!) and she cried the whole way there. Then to make me feel even worse, she literally screamed when she had the shots, terrorising this lovely boxer dog in the waiting room!!! She was really restless on the way home and then, we were pulling into the drive when she threw up AND (it gets worse!) relieved herself in the cat carrier.....I threw myself out of that car, I can tell you! She's a little quiet and depressing so we're leaving her alone to recover!
Luv and Kisses everyone, Lu
