Bad health and a rotten attitude
Just so's ya all know, I will be going on vacation for 10 days. I know that some of you will go, "and so? You are usually absent, Mauel".
Well, I am tired of the surgeries and treatments that didn't work to help me breathe at night. Months and months of this. It is ridiculous. I was so tired, I would fall alseep when I got home. Just to awaken with choking spasms. No friggin life. Have a hard time sleeping with this breather mask and the hissing of this breathing machine (for sleep apnea).
Frustrating until this past week. I went back to my family doctor for a review and told him this was all stupid. Nothing was working. So he gives me a very strong antibiotic for 2 weeks. It works. It has killed evrything in my system, but I can breathe at night. And sleep! The whole night through! No oxygen, no air tubes, no breathing machine and face masks.
Nice and peaceful quiet sleep.
Shoulda done the antibiotics months ago......
and on another happier note:
Mr. Mauie and I will be cruising for our 20th anniversary. Going from San Francisco down the coast to Mexica and then back home. Ten lovely days of no phones, work stuff and shipping problems. Too bad I won't be able to get a good line as I definitely would play EQ!!
So with all my medical done and my trip, I will get back to you all.

I am glad you got it all fixed up and can sleep now M. No sleep makes your whole life crappy. Enjoy your cruise, and Happy 20th! we'll see ya when ya get back.
