Beginning of Term Ball
The Headmistress walked up to the microphone at the front of the ballroom, "Welcome students to this year's Beginning of Term Ball!! Hope everyone will have lots of fun!" and with that she magically turned on the music that blasted nicely throughout the room. The ball had begun!!
Xylia walked into the hall. She looked around at all the decorations. She smiled and moved towards a table. She sat down. She figured she'd wait for someone to ask her to dance, she didn't want to ask someone. She sat there for a while, waiting, hoping.

Ryley walked into the ballroom and looked around for someone to talk/dance with. at this point he saw Xylia sitting at one of the tables, "Hello! All by yourself, eh?"

Matilde shyly slid through a wall in the back of the ball room. As usual, her eyes flicked about the room. Not seeing many people she knew, she started to lazily float about.
This should be enjoyable. So many people at parties. The excitement is so wonderful. I do want to meet some of the students. I wonder how many new ones there will be.
Seeing someone she didn't know, hse floated over to introduce herself.
"Hi," she said quietly, "I'm Matilde."

Andaleeb walked in and sighed. Why had she allowed her friends to talk her into these things. She hated dances, she hated skirts and dresses, and she was wearing one right now. Sighing again, she sat down and waited for someone to talk to.

Xylia looked up at the people who had talked to her.
"Hello." she smiled. "This dance isn't fun yet is it, there's no boys!" she pretended to cry, but ended up laughing. "So what brings you down here? It can't be the boys."

Xylia danced with Ryley. "Yes. I'm having soo much fun!" she smiled. "And the guy thing, I found one. I found a very cute one." she laughed and smiled innocently.

Peggy walked into the ballroom. She didn't see very many people she know other than Xylia who was busy dancing with some guy. Then she noticed Matilde all by herself,
"Hello! Having fun?" she asked.

JP walked in the ballroom wearing blue dress robes and a tall black hat. he headed to the side of the dancing floor and stood around listening to the music.

Emmy arrives in the ballroom, it feels so long since she had been there! She looked around not seeing anyone that she really knew so she sat at one of the tables listening to the music....
