hey everyone. I am desiring to learn how to make part of the wording in my sig blink. If you go here: Test Link you will see how I have my sig as of now. What I am wanting to blink is the words "The Eagle's NEst". Nothing else. Can anyone provide assistance for me? Thanks in advance.

A few years ago, back when Netscape and Microsoft were both trying to have the top browser, Netscape created the <BLINK></BLINK> tag. This tag was something that Netscape thought would draw webmasters to promoting their browser software. Flashing text was eyecatching, and they thought it would catch on fast. Netscape's BLINK tag was a hit...but only for a very short time. Soon it became quite annoying, and people would rather leave a webpage than to have bright text flashing at them. Webmasters soon realized that the BLINK tag actually started making people leave their webpages, and the BLINK tag quickly disappeared from many webpages.
Today, few browsers recognise this tag as a valid code. Even the newer Netscape browsers don't understand it. The only way someone would be able to view a BLINK tag, would be to view it with an older version of the Netscape browser.
GIF images have pretty much overtaken the BLINKING effect, as GIF images are viewable in all browsers. Plus there is so much more you can do with images than you can with just text and code.
You can always use the <blink></blink> tag code, but just remember that most people will never see the blinking effect if you chose to use it. Unless those people have an old version of Netscape, the blink tag is useless.
