CSS is NOT CSC. If you have a question about your CSC account, please use this forum and if you have a question about your CSC board, use this forum.
CSS stands for cascading style sheets. It is an additional language, or set of codes that is used to enhance html. It will eventually replace many current standard html tags. CSS gives far greater control over the design side of html. You can be far more specific about elements such as typefaces, colours, borders, backgrounds and layout.
What can CSS do for my Ezboard?
You can alter a little or a lot on your Ezboard, the choice is yours. You can make it as complex as you like, or as simple as you need. The most popular use of CSS with an ezboard is to change the typeface, size and style. You can also add border effects that look three dimensional, change how your links work, or add colours into functional areas like drop down menus or text areas. Using the tutorial below, you can begin to explore the world of CSS at your own leisure.
Setting up for CSS.
Whether you choose to make dramatic changes to your board, or just add a few little touches, the basics of CSS are the same. You will be adding some code into the <head> area of your board. This is put into your board using the FIRST box on the advanced page. ALL CSS code must be placed inside style tags: When you add further CSS to your board, don't start new style tags, but place the code inside the style tags that you already have. Once you have your style tags, you are ready to start creating your styles.
