Cameron: alive or dead?
Here are the reasonings for the 2 different theories:
ALIVE: On another board, someone said that they heard a moan coming from Cameron when Sharon dumped him. They also think it's been a really long time for someone to have not found a body. Plus, there are supposedly scenes so violent that Sharon Case needed a stunt double, and we haven't seen those scenes yet. Also, the actor playing Cameron is supposedly leaving in February. Also, there was a spoiler about a remote location being used, and people don't think a hotel/dumpster qualifies as a remote. And finally, people think that Cameron is letting Sharon sweat, thinking she killed him. Then he'll come back for her, etc.
DEAD: Personally, I think he's dead. Here's my reasons why: The alleged moan some viewer heard probably came from Sharon. Sure, it's been a long time since New Year's Eve-in our world, that is. On the show it's only been a few days, so his body still could be found soon. I think they axed the stunt double scenes. The Cameron s/l is probably leaving in February, not the actor. I think he's already left. Also, there have been 2 s/ls already about someone coming back after a supposed death. Examples: Billy hit Ralph on the head with a fireplace poker, then Ralph woke up & went after Mac. And most recently, Isabella's apparent "death" turned out to be a hoax. So, I think Cameron is dead.
*But, I hope he's not. I think it'd be much more exciting to watch Nick rescuing Sharon from Cameron, and then people would believe her that the guy is bad news. Plus, then Sharon wouldn't be a killer!
Personally it could go either way but it seems like the Y&R thing to do to have him be alive. To have the actor not leave until feb seems wierd to me (unless he is going to "haunt" her or something) God poor Sharon imagine how freaked she will be if he is not dead? My poor girl! PLEASE Sharon tell Nick!
I love it when he is so sweet and protective of her. I don't want them to break up again over this

Nick is so sweet to Sharon! And I'd love to see him protect her! Remember when he didn't get to help when Sharon was at the cabin with Carter? Victor got there b/c Nick was in jail (as you know), so this time (if Cameron is alive), Nick should definitely be the hero!!!
And I want their marriage to survive this ordeal too. They're the best couple!

I'm thinking Cameron is dead because in SOW they said that Cameron would be going out with a bang on New Year's and that the actor Linden Ashby was leaving the show.
But I think it would be great if Cameron wasn't alived and Nick rescued her from his evil clutches.
Or Sharon gets hurt somehow and Nick realizes how he almost lost her.
Something dramtic to happen for Nick to pour his heart and soul out to Sharon!!!

Cameron is dead. Sharon tells Michael that she went back to where he was & he was buried in the snow.
There are still people who think he's alive, even after that Canadian episode! They think he put something where he was to fool Sharon or maybe it was a bum instead of him. I still am convinced he's dead. Why would the guy think that Sharon would go back? Also, it wouldn't be that long for pple to figure out that it's not him, so he couldn't mess with her for that long, if he wanted to. And my last point on why I am 100 percent sure he's dead is that the writers aren't that creative to have a s/l where he comes back...they are obviously too busy making Sharon act stupid in this s/l and will apparently have her stupid actions & lying come back to haunt her when the guy is found dead.

I think it would be a good storyline to see Sharon convicted of his murder. Nick might realize how much he loves her if she's put in jail? Know what I mean?

Yeah, I get where you're coming from...
I hope that if/when there's a trial, Sharon gets to state her case (and tell the WHOLE truth). I think it would be a very dramatic/emotional portrayal for Sharon Case to do! Sharon never has really had a chance to show her sides to things, and maybe we'd learn something about her childhood & why she turns to men at bad times in her life.
When I'm talking about her sides of things, I'm not talking about her giving justification for dumping Cameron's body, lying to the police & her family, etc.-there is no justification for that-I'm just saying I hope the truth about Cameron's death-that it was in self defense-comes out.
My poor girl! PLEASE Sharon tell Nick!
