To make the beginning, I would like to recommend a good board that is presently rising from the ashes like a phoenix:

Silmarillion

is focused on high quality roleplay, mainly in the First Age of Tolkien's middle Earth. It's all very book verse, and aimed at fleshing out the stories of those times a bit more, not changing them.

(This thread will stay open for a while for people to post their suggestions, and then it will be moved into a poll to determine which one will be our first featured site)

I am closing this thread now. :) Since we didn't get any more suggestions, the Featured Site this month will be Silmarillion.
