Oh, but it is, my friend. America is a godawful, corpulent, evil, and nigh indestructible land. And do you know what the very best part is? It's our stupidity that saves us.(although it doesn't hurt that we seem to have the market cornered on crazy either, does it?) Our ovine nature has, in a sense, saved the vast majority of us from becoming horrified lumps of flesh colored gelatin, so... BAA! BAA!
