Christmas
Do you ever wonder what the point is?! I get so worked up about Christmas not meaning "Christmas" anymore. There is all of this commercial crap, and everyone seems to have lost sight of the meaning of the word.
For example, I was really looking forward to Christmas this year, as the whole family will be together for once. My brother and my older sister are at University quite a distance away, and we were all excited about them coming home. Anyway, now all of these relatives are coming, and we are all just so worked up about making them comfortable! My mother is running round like a headless chicken, and Pheobe and Josie are not speaking because of "Jonathon." (sigh) I'm just tired of all the fuss, and we're not even that near the actual day
At the moment I am just looking forward to seeing Ben and Helena, and trying not to concentrate on all the stress around me

I wonder about that all of the time. I tend to freak out and get so stressed. Kale actually brought me back down to earth the other day when I was worried about what to buy a super picky person I know. He said "Christmas is about love, not presents".
I have decided to not worry about what everyone thinks about the gifts I bought/made, the food I cook etc etc...I'm going to have a wonderful day.
If they don't like it, they can go somewhere else

That is such a sweet thing for Kale to say! And he's totally right...I guess I'll just have to remember that when the flood of guests start to arrive

Hmm, you'd think they'd have grown out of it by now

Re: Christmas
I think that about Christmas also. I am not sure if people understand what Christmas is about anymore. It is all about the gifts and the money.
