 *Cool Things for your EZboard: trackers, counters, etc
Hiya, I've never posted in this particular forum before, but I did read the rules for posting a tip, so hopefully I'm not breaking any rules (if I am, please edit it, thankies).
(By the way, I didn't know where to post this, because it's not actually html, but you guys don't have a "general tips" forum for me to post it in, so I posted it here. If you wanna move it, please please do) ^_)^
Ok, stuff you can use for your EZboard:

There are hundreds of counter-hosting sites out there, offering free, and sometimes, not-so-free counters.
But you may be tired of the counter EZboard uses. Even though this counter is obviosly important to EZboard for billing ammount purposes, non Gold boards can't display their hits.
But I've compiled a list of really cool and useful counters that you can use to proudly display your hits, along with some of their features, and my rating of them.

Bravenet's counters are free, although you'll need to *ahem* join their services. Although their counters are good, I personally don't like the fact that you gotta join their "network".
Counter features: It records the last 50 visitors (Their IP's, OS, and the page they linked from), general tables including percentage comparisons of OS's, screen sizes, and the basic lot. Offers an option to not count your own hits, which I found very cool. Hit counters: Visits/Hits
My Rating: 8, but only cause their counters are good. But they do offer a few other extra options which I'll list later on in the post.

Now this counter I like, but it doesn't offer the list of IP's from visitors like bravenets does...but, it does offer a whole lot of neat stuff:
Counter Features: Lists, percentages and comparisons of OS's, screen sizes, and also lists the .com/.net/whatever extention of the IP address (not in a visit-by-visit list, but overall). Hit counters: Visits/Hits
My Rating: 9 The ease of use and signup make this a good choice.
Well actually that's the only counters I feel like listing mearly because they are my favorite. There's probably tons more out there, but these are my counters of choice ^_)^

Yeah, I really really love bravenet.com's web site stuff. They host lots of cool stuff for you to use, including these:

This is really cool because you can make a page where other members/webmasters can post links to their pages without having to post them in ezboard! This alone can draw non-ezboard members to your site.
Website Hosting:
Never tried it, but hey, they'll host it for free. Bandwidth sucks, though, only 600mg a month (large sites will run out quickly)
GuestMap:
A guestbook ^_)^ never tried it though
they also offer Message forums, a photo center (dunno if it allows remote linking or not), minipolls, chats, password gates, siterings, mailing list, classified add hosting, and other cool (and maybe some not-so-useful) tools.

A web host that allows remote linking ^_)^ yay. Just make sure you have an index page to boot. Their hosting allows unlimited bandwidth and 8 megs of storage. Bad for sites, super awesome great for EZboard image hosting. But their system can be buggy sometimes, I have once found all my files deleted, but I reloaded them. (they told me it was a bug, so I believed them hehehe)

Hey, why not? You've gotta have some sort of affiliate program to try to earn something  EZboards aren't always free for you (well actually they are if you don't mind the adds), so Commission Junction basically takes all the possible affiliate programs hosted by online stores and whatnot and sticks them in one place for you. Hey, if you're going to have a site, you've gotta atleast try to make money.
Well hey, that's all I got. These are all cool tools that I use on my forum, and they all work great (and thank goodness that truepath works, cause finding a good image host is a really pain). Of course you're probably wondering why I posted 2 different counters. Well actually I do use 2 counters. I use bravenet to keep track of where my visitors come from (man, that's such a great feature), and I use stats4all because they provide a list of what sites refer mine the most (it's a percentage list, bravenet doesn't list them all, just the last 50 visitors, but stats4all doesn't provide them on a visitorly basis, you know what I mean?)
