DIRT PUDDING
1 large package Oreo cookies
3 cups milk
2 small boxes instant French vanilla pudding
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, at room temperature
1 container (16 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Put cookies, a few at a time, in a plastic bag & crush fine with rolling pin.
Sprinkle half of the cookies on bottom of a 13 x 9- inch glass dish.
Beat together the milk & instant pudding until the mixture thickens like pudding, set aside.
Beat together margarine, sugar & pudding to cream cheese until mixture is creamy.
Add thawed whipped topping & pudding to cream cheese mixture, stir well.
Pour mixture over crushed cookies in dish, sprinkle remaining cookies on top.
Cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate for at least 4 hours or freeze.
If frozen, thaw for about 1 hour in refrigator before serving.
Makes 12 to 18 servings.
