DoN progression - Tier 1 and Tier 2
Hey all,

I was thinking of starting this progression.

I believe they go as follows:

Tier 1:
3 - missions that can be done solo or group
1 - mission for a group (max 6)

reward: +10 to all stats and stat caps

Tier 2:
3 - missions that can be done solo or group
1 - mission for a group (max 6)
1 - mission for a raid (max 24)

reward: +300hp/+300mana/+300endur (or something close to that)

Does anyone else still need to do these and interested in doing them? It would be nice to get 6 people through this together since the last raid drops 6 stones for reward completion.

Anyway, let me know what you think,
Elly

I'm interested. Can any class do the solo missions? And where is this zone, or where do you get tasks?

I havent done any. If you need any help and we can do 2 (or 3) for 1, it'd be great.

We can schedule a time if people want to be organized.

Casters realm has an ok write-up.

as usual for me - haven't been there much and haven't done any of that stuff.

Great idea and I would like to join this.

Re: DoN progression - Tier 1 and Tier 2
We get the tasks at the good camp in Lava storm. I believe that the missions are the same (at least where you hunt). Two of the tier 1 mission are in the Assent.

The mobs are fairly tough and a group would make it go much faster. Although you can get the solo missions as a group of one, if you are not a good solo class it may prove to be very difficult to solo the mission.

Morromid, yes, yes, yes hun, I would love to get organized on this. If we could get 4 to 6 people that want to complete this, then it would be great to have a set day of the week and a set time.

I can make it any night. I just need to know in advance what the designated night is so I can plan ahead. It would be nice if it were at a time that Mauel can join. I think :hide most of the rest of us are on EST or CST but she is stuck out in PST (or is that BFE, I forget)

As a small group, we could do everything up to the Emoush raid, but maybe the GCP could help us at that time.

Like I said, any night is good for me, so start throwing out some times you can do this and we can see if we have some common ground for everyone.

Also, I think we need at least indifferent faction to get the first round of missions and amiable for the new round.

Don't worry, it is nothing at all like OOW faction. I got amiable real fast and I started out... shall we say - persona non grata at the good camp, which is short for everyone trying to pin my very blue butt to the wall.

I have done tier 1 and am up to the group portion of tier 2. Just a warning, Emoush is a major pain in the ass (the tier 2 raid) He also only drops like 4 of the needed item to complete tier 2 >:

DoN is the only expansion I don't have. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a copy to buy. Since I ditched the credit cards, I can't download it from SOE. So, does anyone know where I can buy an actual boxed version?

Zayn has tried Emoush 2 or 3 times now with the GCP and we've failed each time

EB Games has it if there is a location near you.

I can also provide assistance - send me a check and I will buy it and ship it to you. I checked some stores here and many of them carry it and the rest of the expansions.

Just let me know.

Re: DoN progression - Tier 1 and Tier 2
Hey, all

I have read some strategies on the necro boards on how to do the raid. It would be fun to try (and some great sister time - that includes Morr too since I adopted him as an honorary sister). Big A can give us some pointers since she is almost done with tier 2 (maybe we can talk her into doing it again :)

I stink at organization, so I would vote for Morr, Cin or big A to get this setup.

Cin - I think the DoN exp is worth getting. The exp in the mission is great, but all the augments and armor you can get is great. I didn't get this exp until a few months after it came out and if I am lucky, I got to play about once a week, but with this exp I still went from:

2k hp to 4.3k hp (unbuffed)
2.3k mana to 5.5k mana
FT 1 to FT 15 (max) without AAs
enough regen to completely offset lich
Im up about +80 to + 120 on all stats and
up +100 to + 150 on all saves (near 300 now on all saves)
and up about 120 or 130 AAs

With a few more items/augs and doing tier 2 here, I hope to break the 5k hp / 6k mana (unbuffed) level.

So Mauel, send Cin the exp express mail and we will show them what Sisters can do :box

hugs all,
Elly

Emoush is a pain in the arse. I have only been on one successful raid on him. He needs a lot of DPS, 3 good tanks and 3 good healers to keep the tanks up when the 3 mystics are up.

I just stopped by Best Buy and they have Everquest Titanium edition out. It is Everquest + ALL 10 exp packs including DoDH for $19.99.

If anyone is missing more than one exp pack, this would be the way to go...
