Spencer obviously has some type of connection to the McBains(what that is we don't know) since he recognized the name when Evangeline mentioned her then boyfriend John McBain. But twice now Michael has attempted to say his name to Spencer but he didn't get to say his last name either time. The first time since is was in awe of Spencer and couldn't seem to spit out his name and then today when Spencer cut him off before he said McBain. I know that Spencer said I know who you are but I think he was implying that he knew him from their last meeting and not necessarily that he knows him by name. If Spencer does indeed have connections to the McBains you'd think his reaction to knowing that Michael is a McBain would be more significant. Which leads me to believe that Dr. Truman doesn't know that tidbit of information. I thought that Spencer's reaction was kinda interesting too. I'm getting really curious as to what his connection is to the McBains. I think I remember the eppy you guys are talking about but I think Michael tried to say his name but Spencer walked away before he got it all out. On another day someone did mention John McBain to him and he mumbled something about how it couldn't be or something. Spencer was so going to blow Michael off again until he mentioned his name was McBain and now he is taking him under his wing. I am a little concerned for our sexy doc cuz I do not trust that Spencer at all. Dawn

It's really suspicious how he never gave Michael the time of day before and now that he knows that he's a McBain, Mikey is like is best friend. I don't think it's a coincidence that as soon as Spencer showed up they started talking a lot about the death of Papa McBain. But maybe he could had something to do with him being shot in the line of duty which is why he was in the hospital to begin with. right? I hope it's not one of those things that they start and then never go back too. It's been a few weeks since anything was mentioned about this(then again it might work better if Michael actually was on screen more. Spencer seems too into Kelly and Blair to show much interest in anything else. I've actually been thinking about something similar to this a lot recently. Why is that it's always the same people getting all the airtime. There's certain characters that are always on at least 4-5 days a week. Then there's Michael(and others too) who might be on for a whole week but then are only on like 2 days in the next 2 weeks or something and it's very annoying. I mean if they do plan to continue the McBain/Spencer connection, can't they have Spencer take a little time out of wooing the Cramers to interact with Michael at the hospital?
