Jason’s gaze paused at her throat, where a small piece of red glass hung as a pendant on the plain gold chain she wore. He smiled when their gazes met and held, his eyes misting over in spite of himself. “I now pronounce you man and wife.” Their lips met and he kissed her tenderly, pouring his boundless love for her into that one touch. It was finally done. They were married…under the Tuscan sun.
