Edge's final episode, December 1984
I had the chance to see EON's last episode over at Brian's WoST site and it reminded me why I miss this soap so much and why it should be re-aired in syndication again! Sky and Raven were an awesome couple, even though they definitely weren't saints, Larkin Malloy and Sharon Gabet had wonderful chemistry and you couldn't help root for them. These two need to be back on soaps now, and not as short-term players! It was great to see the characters sit around and have fun celebrating the holiday too. It seems today's soaps focus so much on misery, they never write scenes with just people sitting around and shooting the breeze anymore, being real, without some big crisis about to happen.

Also, I watched E's True Hollywood Story about L.A. Law last week and learned that the first Raven, Juanin Clay, was up for a role as a judge while they were casting the characters, but producers decided not to write her character in! You learn something new everyday!

Seems as though a memory is hard to find, always on mind...And frustrated days pass without sight...The edge of night.
