Faint text

The text that scrolls across the main page on my forum is really faint. Any chance of telling me how I can darken it/make it more solid?

(It's the text that greets you with your name).

I've just tried that code Nutrocker (cheers!), but unfortunately it hasn't changed.

I wasn't posting code to use as a replacement!
I was posting your existing code but highlighting the section you needed to change!

e.g. change RED to BLACk
for example

I have changed it to black and it is still faint...

Could the background be affecting it?

It's the Alpha filter that was meant for the sidebar, class=scroller is what you'll want to get rid of.

I used the above code to put on my board. It works great excet it does not greet the member, only says...Welcome! not Welcome Gldglv! Is there something missing from that code? All I did was replace the above quote with my own..
