ezDollar ezboard Moderator ezSupporter Posts: 1625 Posted: 12/11/06 7:03     Getting 'Object not found!' (404 error) when you log in? Problem: Some non-ezSupporters are getting a 404 error ("Object not found!") during the login process. This problem will be fixed as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience it is causing. Scenario 1: You click the "Login" link at an ezboard community, enter correct login information, then get a 404 error ("Object not found!") page. Scenario 2: You click the "Login" link at an ezboard community, enter correct login information, then get an advertisement page. When you click the "No thanks, continue" link, you get a 404 error ("Object not found!"). Workaround 1: Use your browser's Back button to return to the main page of your ezboard community. Refresh the page. You may need to do a hard refresh (press Shift + click your browser's Refresh/Reload button) to see an updated version of the page. You should then be shown as logged in. If you need to enter your Control Center, you should be able to do so by clicking the "My Control Center" at the board's main page or a forum page. Workaround 2: Click a link (e.g. in your browser's Favorites or Bookmarks) to a specific ezboard. You should see that you are logged in. Again, if you need to enter your Control Center, you can do so by clicking the "My Control Center" link at any ezboard community. Local-account users can also use a Bookmark or Favorites link to click past the problem but the link must go to the board where their account is registered.
