Here are some online banner resources for you to try.
Read any instructions given on the site, save any image created to your hard drive, upload the image to your web space (one that allows hotlinking or remote loading of images is preferable)
Note: Most online banner or image creators do not keep the images on their servers very long, they may choose to delete the images within hours of creation.

Tip: I want to remove my banner image but when I do all I see is a red 'x'
To remove a banner that you configured within the custom images area of your community control center, find a small transparent gif, say 10x10 pixels in size or similar, upload this image to your website or web space and use the url as the replacement for your banner.
