(HTML Tip) Back to Top Feature

Hate scrolling up a large topic at your board have no fear, Back to Top is here!!! Put this in the Custom HTML area in your Control Center under the Custom Footer section:

<*CENTER><*A HREF=URL OF BOARD#><*IMG SRC=http://www.ezboard.com/images/posticons/pi_arrowup.gif border=0>Back to Top</A><*/CENTER>

remove the * and I suggest to add 2 br's(which is br in < and >) after that to leave some space.

Make sure that after the URL of the board you have the # there and it will will bring you to the top of the page without loading.

I guess I gave the wrong HTML for this, the HTML code for a back to top feature is this:

<*CENTER><*A HREF=#><*IMG SRC=http://www.ezboard.com/images/posticons/pi_arrowup.gif border=0>Back to Top</A><*/CENTER>

the # in the HTML code for making links makes the page that you are currently viewing, when clicking the link makes you go back to the top of the page, for instance:

Say if I was viewing http://beta.ezboard.com/bezboard well if I added the HTML code of the back to top feature the link will make me go to http://beta.ezboard.com/bezboard # which still goes through, even viewing forums, topics, etc. will still make you able to go to the top of the page. :)

NOTE! : You can also change the image by putting the URL of the image in the <*IMG SRC=>

and DON'T forget to REMOVE the asterisks (*)
