(HTML) Using images for custom titles / ranks
how do I get ranking stars as custom titles?
First, you must be the admin of the board.
Let's say you want to make it so after a registered user has posted 10 times they become a 'regular', and will have 2 stars under their name.

Go to control center/my ezboard tab/user button/user levels/add new level button/

Level: (make a new level lower than moderator level, but this really doesn't matter that much)

Title: regular
Powers
Administrator Moderator Standard (check this one)
Type
Automatically add this title to a user after 10 posts

Manually add this title to users in User Management(don't check this)

save changes

Repeat this with every other level you want to be automatic, just change the title and the number of posts it takes to reach that title.

After you make your automatic levels and give a title to the different levels, you add HTML to the title to add an image (or images). (it's better to not have any mod or admin powers attached to automatic levels) The most popular is stars, but you are not limited to stars.
control center>my ezboard tab>user>user levels>edit the titles in the boxes for the new levels (the boxes look small but you can put alot of stuff in them)

like for the first level you want:
Joe Blow
newbie
*
for the title you would put this in the title box:
newbie<br><img src="url_of_star.gif">

for the next level you want
Joe Blow
regular
**

for the title you would put:
regular<br><img src="url_of_star.gif"><img src="url_of_star.gif">

and so on. Simply repeat the url of the image for every star you want. The <br> tag make it go to the next line, so the stars are under the title. In fact you don't have to have text titles at all, you could just have stars.
