Harry Potter IV review
I finally managed to get to the theater. Unfortunately I got stuck in a traffic jam and got late for the original version presentation. So, I had to make do with the dubbed version.

How did I like it?

It's nice, really nice entertainment. But for someone who has read the book it's rather disappointing. The main parts of the book, character developement, character growth, relationships, the struggle against lies, the search for truth are missing. Insted, the full focus is on the tournament, something that I only saw as a nice icing on the cake in the book. Those ten minutes that they used for making the test with the dragon a terribly boring (and rather rediculous) action sequence could easily have gone into some more character interaction. Those terribly lacked depth. They could even have left out that annoying reporter, since the storyline that she starts was completely omitted.

On a side note, I was both appaled and amused to see that a whole film crew apparently doesn't know about the basics of style for balls, or the ground rules of dancing. So in case you tried to remember something from the dance lesson in the movie - don't!

All in all, nice entertainment, but it's more fun reading the book.
