How do I get my images on my board

Images to be used on the internet, have to be hosted or stored on a web server. You home computer cannot act as a full blown web server, nor can you act as a web hosting company.

Firstly, you need to find and sign up for a web host that gives you some web space on a web server that you can upload to.
Depending on the web host you choose will depend on how you upload any files to the web space, and the web host more than likely, will have FAQ's on how to do this.

Check with your ISP first, they may already have some unused web space that came as a package with your internet account. Possibly 10Mb or maybe more.

Once you have the graphics file uploaded to your web space, you need to know the full URL of the image.

So if you uploaded an image called mypiccie.gif to...

http://www.yourserver.com/images

the full url would be...

http://www.yourserver.com/images/mypiccie.gif

Once you have the full url of where the image can be found on your web space, that is the url you would use for html or ezcodes to display the image on your forum or board.
