I bought my first Bratz doll! pastababe
Okie okie! I spotted these awesome dolls at K-Mart at Sydney, Australia in June 2000. I wanted to buy all 4 of them back home to Singapore. But I didn't. And I regretted it!

Finally, some select stores in Singapore (make that 2 departmental stores in the whole of Singapore) had it! But they only had 3 out of the 4 dolls.

Yesterday I finally bought Jade - the Asian Bratz.

Bought it home and was busy combing her black hair. Mom was like "man! you are already 25! and you're still playing with dolls?! These dolls are meant for your daughter, not you!" ;)

Anyway, (my mom's a bit weird - not the conventional sort of mom), she proceeded to say that the doll kinda looked like me...and when I told her, that there are the other 3 dolls, she said, "then why didn't you buy all of them at one go?!"

That's my mom! :)

Anyway, just wanna say that the Bratz are lovely and although they are meant for little little girls, I love them. :)

P.S. My bf would rather buy me branded shoes than these dolls! I'd take the dolls of course. :)

Lol, 25 and still playing with dollies! Mind you, I was playing with Polly Pocket and Amazing Allie when I baby-sat on Saturday night! And Play-Doh too, come to that!

Lulu!
I've always wanted to play with Play Doh! Except that when it was first launched, I was already 12 and I was too old for them then. Now, whenever I go to Toys R Us, I'd look at those Play Doh sets, especially those McDonalds ones that allow you to make your own icecream & burgers! Dang, perhaps I should buy one Play Doh set in order to be able to move on with my life! :)

Binkie, here's a pix of the Asian Bratz doll that I've bought. More pix at their official site

Bah! Let us not please forget that we NEVER hafta grow up if we don't want to. You know what I still do? I still color on a semi-regular basis. It's relaxing and fun and I can't get enough Barbie coloring books.

The Bratz are very sweet. I love them as well. I don't own any but if I ever have the extra money they will all be mine. Mwahahahah.

And you MUST buy you some play-doh. But don't eat it. Trust me, it's not good... way more salty than one would imagine. Anyways, just buy a basic set just to squish it in your hands whenever you get bored or stressed or whatever. Way more fun than silly putty and less disgusting than goo or slime.

Know what I want that I never had? An easy bake oven.

And I bought another 2 just now for S$39.48 = US$22.25 for both dolls! Coz a departmental store was having 20% storewide so I had to get another 2! :)

They look like Camilla's dollz (the ones with the big feet). They come with cute outfits and accessories.

:lol good thing it's non-toxic. :)

My friends and I tried playing with the lego in a toy store and the sales clerk told us not to because it was only for kids.

Play-Doh is probably the BEST thing ever!!!!!!

For those who don't know an Amazing Allie doll is, it's this disturbing thing which has a head too large for its body. It says random phrases and you can dress it - I'll find a pic and post!
All little girls think she's lesbian because she says 'Let's go girlfriend!'. I think they don't quite grasp the full concept of the use of the word 'girlfriend'!

I love toys...they make such cool ones now:) Play-Doh is fun, not when it gets all dry and crumby though;)
Last year I bought Kale Play-Doh hairdresser and this year dentist. I can't wait to play with it, and if he's really good...I might let him play with me:)

Perhaps we should introduce the Amazing Allie doll to Shrinking Violet, a talking doll made years and years ago who said "I don't want to play with those nasty boys." ;)

I recently discovered a new toy too. Stikfas!! It's a little guy that's sort of a mix between Lego and those plastic army guys my brothers used to play with.
www.stikfas.com
I want to make a stop action movie with mine, and even though they're army type guys I want them to do Disco in the movie!! I think it'd be super funny!!! If I ever do it I'll post a link so you guys can all watch.

hehehe...

Stikfas is actually made in Singapore...where I'm from. :)
It's really amazing that the toy can be so successful...heard that even George Lucas also bought it. :)

And recently Hasbro has bought the rights to distribute it.

George Lucas bought one!?! That's so cool!! They really are quite fun to play with. There must be some really awesome people in Singapore if they're making such fun toys, and besides you live there! :D

I'm just trying to find an excuse to buy one! Money's tight and all that, I might have to have a kid and buy it for her!
