I have some questions, not really a support question however

When someone is banned from a particular ezboard do they still have access to it, as in they can read it but not post on it? Or are they sent to a certain page that says, you are banned from this forum, or a similar page?

I wouldn't ask if I could remember.

hehe... I'm getting a bit rusty with ezboard stuff, myself.

It's going to depend on your security settings and how the user is banned. If your board isn't MBA, or if it's non-strict MBA (anyone can view but only members can post), they can still read the board if they're logged out of their account.

If they're banned by IP number or range, they won't be able to access the board at all as long as their computer is still assigned that number. If their number is dynamic, they may be able to view the board sometimes but not others. If they are banned by IP number only, they may be able to use a different computer to access the board.

They do get a page that tells them they are banned. If memory serves correctly, they get the same page regardless of the manner in which they've been banned and their IP number is not displayed on the "banned" page the way it is at Yuku.
