I love what they did with taking Al out of Michael's body.
I think it was something that Al needed to knock some sense into him. He just kept going around acting like Al when no one, including Marcie, saw him that way. I understand his frustration, in that Marcie doesn't seem to want to give Michael a chance. since everytime she seems to be softening, Michael's personality comes out and does(or says) something jerklike that just pushes her away again. I think this redeeming Michael's soul thing might be the perfect way to get our fave couple together again.
I loved the special effects stuff that they did too, when Al was fading. and the little girl(whoever she was supposed to be) was cute and I thought it was a nice touch when they have someone in the body of a little girl but doesn't at all talk like a little girl.
What do you all think Al's good deeds will be? I'm thinking that maybe at least one will involve John in some way. Like taking steps to fix their shaky relationship or something.
and I bet that guy that Marcie was with wouldn't have been so willing to stand up to MichAl if Al was in his own body instead of Michael's.

Al: "Oh, whatever, in what fairy tale?"
Re: I love what they did with taking Al out of Michael's bod
I thought today's show was pretty good. We see 2 of Al's good deeds. I don't know what the 3rd one will be. Maybe the actual visit to his Mom? Or maybe Marcie will be down bcuz she is celebrating XMas w/o Al and he will have to lift her spirits?
I definately think that taking Al out of Michael was a good move. Al was being real thick. I wanted to smack him. Y would u say to Marcie that he was Al, when he was already told it was against the rules?? He needed the wake up call in order to get him to try a different approach.
I could be wrong but wasnt Al told in the beginning that his mission was to help Michael find his soul and get Marcie to fall in love with him? Al had completely lost sight of that and just pursued his own personal mission- getting Marcie to fall in love with him again.

LOL. Everytime NM has to do a fight some1 gets the best of him. There is no way that Cris would beat Al in a fight. And did u see that NM had to squat down so Greg could hit him?? Al shouldve wiped the floor with both of them.
I shoulda waited til seeing today's show before posting...
Silly me. Guess I just wasn't expecting us to get the deeds this soon. Knowing TPTB I was sure that we'd have to wait til the end of the week to find out. Based on the previews for tomorrow, I think it might be the Marcie thing.

I wasn't sure about that so I went and rewatched some of the scenes when he first became Michael. at one point Luna did mention to him that Michael is a lost soul and needs his help. and how many times did she tell him that if told Marcie that he's Al and he'd be yanked out of Michael's body so fast. That must have just went in one ear and out the other cause it's wasn't the part of his mission that he was focused on. All he could focus on was getting Marcie back. He was trying to hard to win her over and it obviously wasn't working. It was the moments when he wasn't trying to win her over that he actually started to win her over. He should have remember that from when he and Marcie first fell for each other. He wasn't trying to win her over, it just happened cause it was meant to happen.

Ain't that the truth. I also noticed that when Greg supposedly pushed him, NM took a little hop back and it didn't look like he was being pushed at all. If Al was himself, there's no way that guy could take him.

Re: I love what they did with taking Al out of Michael's bod
Today was an excellent show. I love the way MIchael was being influenced today. And this week we finally find out why Michael is so closed off and lonely. He felt abandoned and then isolated himself as a boy. It makes sense that he would turn out to be socially stunted.
The look on al's face when he found out Gabrielle was his and Marcie's daughter was priceless.
Surprisingly the other soap characters didn't get on my nerves today. See how pleasant it is when we get a decent dose of Marcal??

Isn't that like Al was with Jen?? Single minded to a fault and he always ended up doing something stupid. U r rite he and Marcie were able to fall in love b4 bcuz he allowed it to go quite naturally and slowly. Not by browbeating her.
And tomorrow we get kissage!!! And I saw the preview guides for next week and we get more kissage!! Can a NM topless scene be far off?? I salivate at the thought.
Great Christmas present - A Marcal kiss
I can't wait for that kiss today, it should be an interesting show today. I surely hope we get a NM shirtless scene soon , it could be possible.
I loved how Michael was being influenced too. I liked that we actually got to hear what Al was saying to him. On Monday I kept saying, what is he saying to them? But then again I sometimes wonder what the people in the background are talking about even though I know they are not actually talking. I know, I'm crazy .
and we finally got some insight into why Michael is the way he is. It makes you sit back and think, ok that makes so much sense as to why he acts the way he does. He just needs to spend some more time with his brother John and hopefully repair that family bond. and or course spend some more time with Marcie so she can understand him more and actually give him the time of day and do some kissing with our boy. Cause they have to get their little girl Gabrielle. Al's look was priceless when she told him that she was his and Marcie's daughter, too cute.
yeah, that is kinda how Al was with Jen too. Rushing in to what he wanted without listening to those around him. Then eventually something happens that knocks some sense into him. If he just calms down and let's him and Marcie happen, then it will.
It is a lot more pleasant when we get a decent dose of Marcal. But the characters weren't acting too annoying yesterday anyways, maybe because it's the holidays.
and on a side note...I thought that little boy that Kelly found was absolutely adorable.
