I miss Julie Wendel Snyder
Watching the classic episode at Thanksgiving with her really brought back fond memories. At the time I hated her (she never seemed like 'model material' to me & I hated Andy's addiction to her) but in retrospect she was an excellent character. All the qualities I've liked about Carly & Molly are what made Julie an interesting character. And her friendship with Lisa (that ended for reasons almost as stupid as the reason Lisa's friendship with Carly ended) was great, it brought back that side of Lisa that I really miss (the nasty/scrapper side.) Carly & Molly don't really have their Julie in them anymore, I guess it's moved on to Rose. I wonder who will be next.
It's about time you made it to the classic ATWT forum! It's been waiting for you! LOLOL. Although I wasn't watching ATWT at the time, I've always enjoyed Susan Marie Snyder ever since she played Laken Lockridge on Santa Barbara. Wasn't Julie married to Holden at one point and isn't she the mother of his son Aaron that is soon to be (or already has) arriving in Oakdale SORASed to teendom? I wonder if there are any plans to have Julie return for at least a guest appearance like they did with Duncan when Bonnie came back.

She was never married to Holden, just Caleb. She did sleep with Holden that one time (that's all it takes!) Poor Julie! So very fertile, that's why infertile Meg hated her so much! Aaron is on his way. Julie came on in her early 20's as Duke's old girlfriend who had 2 kids back home in Seatle. She always seemed kind of young for that (she was married when she had them & her ex was eventually on the show & killed.) She lived with Andy and cheated on him with Tonio (those 2 actors married, something about ATWT!) Then she suddenly married Caleb (they kind of met & eloped after a party. SURPRISE!) She kept screwing up & for some reason they broke up for a second & ended up sleeping with a drunken Holden who thought Lily was sleeping with Linc (thanks to Lucinda.) That's where Aaron came from. I'd love to see Julie & Caleb deliver Aaron to Holden!

Lily was with Caleb too???? I don't remember reading about this! In what context did this happen???? Was this with first Caleb (Michael David Morrison) or 2nd Caleb (whose name I forget)?

I believe she was, but I think Heather Rattray (sp?) was playing Lily at the time. The Snyder family confused me so much with their bedhopping!

it was Martha Byrne. Heather Rattary was on when Holden cheated with Julie. I kinda liked Heather (I think I was the only one!) and her Lily was very different from Martha's. Heather's was a better business person, but perhaps even more fragile than Martha's Lily. My fave Lily was Lucy Deakins. She was the original & Lily was a very headstrong tomboy back then. Lucy Deakins was a kid actor so I knew her already & she was around my age. She had a lot of chemistry with Brian Bloom (Dusty, Lily's first boy friend) Martha's a bit older & was unfamiliar to me. So the order of casting was Lucy, Martha, Heather, & Martha.
Lily dated Caleb after she lived with Dusty (I believe that Dusty was her 'first') and it must have been during the school year because I don't remember much about it. I just remember them talking about Lily & Caleb having sex at one time (and I think it was before she slept with Holden, but I don't know when that was.) I was never a Holden/Lily fan, so I'm always a bit fuzzy on them. Dave knows, maybe he'll post about it. He's still obsessed with them!
