I need help....
Hi, I'm Mary. I have 3 children, 2 of which are in public school. I'm thinking of home schooling one of them. She's 10 next month (Lizzie). She has the same teacher this year as she did last year. However, the teacher is not coopereritive this year, and Lizzie needs more help with spelling and writing.
I don't know the first thing about home schooling, but I do know I could do a better job with my child than the teacher and schools down here in FL.
There are several things I'm looking for: Can I find used lesson plans and materials? Where do I look? Also, I just started a home biz which is showing much growth potential. Also, I have an active 19 month old and another baby due in April. I know I'm organized....but how many hours dose it really take to home school. I know they do a lot of play at school. But with all the other distractions at home, I'm wondering if it will benefit Lizzie. Unfortunately, at this time there is also a limited source of income so private school is not in the budget.
Let me know what you think
