I'm making a resolution!
After my family and I move, which is this coming friday 6/24 and we get everything set away with that, I'm going to try to come here a lot more often than I have of late. I'm going to try to stop in at least once a day or once every couple of days at least.
btw, I may or may not pop in between now and the end of the week, it all depends on how things are going.
Re: Good luck with the move Jen!
Ditto to that for me! I have been spending most of my online time on the Bryan White board b/c of the new album coming out & the show I am going to in August, but I will make a point to try to get here more often.

I'm back
The house is still kinda a mess but it's getting there. The house itself is smaller than what we had before but it's a MUCH better neighborhood. We are still in the city but we are on the outskirts so it feels like the suburbs. We have a pretty decent sized deck and a good sized pool which is awesome and we have LOTS more privacy than we had before.
What sucks is that we don't have cable right now though. We had cable last weekend but that still may have been the previous owners' cable. Then it was shut off on monday(right in the middle of OLTL, of course ). The stupid people somehow didn't get it into their system that we were supposed to have ours turned on here in the new house. Thanks to the good ole "rabbit ears" we were able to watch the soaps at least(Amy said she'd get screencaps for me from this past week which is awesome . But haven't been able to watch hardly any baseball games. Most of Boston's games are on cable and the one game that wasn't is one that they lost 15-2, which figures. Had to listen to them on the radio but of course any time I complained about that my dad gave me one of those "When I was a kid..." speeches, .
That's enough of my little rant, back to topic...
I've actually had the computer set up and connected for a while now but things were still kinda hectic so I waited to come and post again. Hopefully I can keep up with my resolution to check in on a regular basis.
Re: Welcome back!
Thank you Laura I'm really gonna try to post more often and hopefully at least make the forum look more active.
Our cable provider is Charter(I won't say that dirty word, lol). We normally don't have problems with the service. There was just a little issue with getting it switched from the old house to the new one and they couldn't get a person over here to turn it on til today. But it's back on now so it's all good. and hey, w/out cable I probably got outside a little bit more and enjoyed the nice weather and our new pool. Maybe I won't be my usual really pale self by the end of the summer.
GEEZE!!!!
Where is everyone? I've been gone for a while - brief va-ca - and I expected to come back to somethin???? lol
Did see something on my little road trip that made me giggle - there is a little town on Missouri we drove thru called "Marston, MO" at 6 am when we were driving through, it struck me as hilarious - not quite sure why
Let's get posting gals!
"Women who behave rarely make history..."

I've been really slacking off
Someone needs to give me a butt kicking or something(Nathaniel is free to do so ). My big problem is that I'm such a procrastinator, I thought when I was done with school I'd be done with that but I thought wrong. I say well I'll and check out the forum later and of course I get caught up doing something else and later never comes.

lol. well it was 6am so maybe that partially why. Then again, one time I saw a Nathaniel St. or something like that but that was the middle of the afternoon. So, I don't know what my excuse is. I think I posted about it somewhere on here.
Re: Good luck with the move Jen!
Sorry I have been a big time slacker too. We just got back from vacation and I am trying to get back into the swing of things.
Don't worry Laura...I would have gotten a big kick out of the Marston thing too. Anytime I hear Nathaniel or Marston the thoughts go right to you know who LOL
