If you know of a good FREE host that does allow remote linking, then post a link here, with any further information that might be needed.
I forgot to mention, that you will have to re-upload your images every three weeks on Baypal, but it's really quick, as you can upload three images at a time, and you can upload any type of image (JPEG, GIF, ART, ect), I believe.

Image Hosting Tip- Some people dont know this but you can have your internet provider do it. For instance by using WS_FTP you can upload your files. I just realized this but I bought it....
You can store up to 20 images with these people and have unlimited bandwidth. They also have a referral system in place where every time you refer someone, you get more image space over the 20 allowed.
These guys are good, but there is a problem with the ? in the url when hotlinking to them, but they have added a url link specifically for Ezboard users so you can insert images into your text.
It's free, but you can't edit your pics or delete them once you have uploaded them. They have been having a few problems the past 2 days but Brian is working on things.
Have now introduced bandwidth monitoring, but they give you 3000 mb a month and you would have to use 100meg a day for your account to be suspended. You will need to create a webpage in order to be able to continue using these people, but they are very good.
Hope this helps someone. I know what it was like for me when I first came to Ezboard - finding a remote host was difficult, finding a good one was even more difficult. The above 3 have been excellent for our board.

I am using WebPhotos. You can upload up to 60 MB at once. It takes me about 12 minutes to upload a full floppy disk of photos. You can make the albums public or private and invite others to share. Here's the addy:
Look how easy this is. click browse, to find files, then upload to upload and it gives you their adresses. It allows off-site hosting too! Only prob is that you have to remember which ones you putdown first 'cause you can't tell them apart. It's more for UBB tho, because it gives you the [*img] tag instead of [*image], but just take the tag off. It's a really good site. www.picupload.com works too, but you have to register, and log in each time.
Uhh, and images.zollonet.com/ was a good one, but it went under. Expect to get it back soon though. These two are exactly alike.

Free sites are cool, untill they decide that they want to charge "a little" then , whap!!! all of a sudden, amongst all them "blocked" e-mails and deleted e-mails was the one from the freebie site saying " your account has now ended"
this happens, trust unkie johny ive tried flippin thousands of em,as well as mp3 hosting jobbies,... but to no avail, you pay nothing and eventualy ,..well ,lol,...theres "no-one" to complain to or Cry cos your images are leaving a little red X.
The only image server ive found 99% reliable is my own Server,My server (Blueyonder) gives me 30mb, for this i pay 9.99 a month, as well as 24/7 net access,..
Almost Every server offers web hosting included in there Price,
For example Bt internet = 12mb, freeserve hosting = 16mb,
Blueyonder hosting = 30mb.
They nearly ALL do it,on my server i currently hold , no joke ,..
4 x 5mb music tracks,..My entire Personal Web site,...90% of my images for my Forum,....plus more.
Just go to your server home page and search for "home pages" etc.
Its Amazing when you flik thru the pages here how many people are crying out for free image hosting,.. when they have it ALL the time!
Whats worse is NO-ONE suggested using there server! lol
That is totaly Unreal.
The only knowledge required is usualy no more than an easy to use "free" Ftp uploading program and thats it,....
Just Check your Server Home page. You pay for it,..... they just dont tell you.

I am using www.gizba.com 500MB FREE! webhosting and they do work. Just check my profile. The bground image is being hosted by them. They do ask that you make an actual site though and not just use it for storage.

www.sitegem.com - you can use it to build a website but also to host images if you want to. There is a size limit to the site and the size of file, but nothing to stop you opening more than one site to hold images.

As far as I know Hostonce does not have any limits on what type of files you can upload or their size - I host .wmv's and scads of MP3's up there that can get quite large. They support front page extensions - you have to turn this feature on through your "control" panel thingee that lets you grant permissions to different folders and directories on your site. You can also host a bunch of e-mail addresses - I am not sure how many - right now I am just using like 6 for people I know and stuff. You can also grant access to multiple users to access your ftp - so if you want to build a library for people to share from and upload to - you can. And you can create -I think - up to six subdomains. I have a redirect that shoots straight into my ez-board set up on my site also.

I found that www.liquid2k.com was fantastic. It doesn't allow ftp programs, but it has inbrowser uploading, so if you only want it for Ezboard, it's quite funky.

I just thought I'd stop back by to provide a link. I threw in the towel myself on getting it to work. Anyway, here's a great place that has alot of information regarding FTP and it also contains a list of free webspace providers with info on each one. Maybe it will help some of you.
The problem with yoursighost.com is that they permit you to upload only three images per account for remote linking to discussion forms. No more. If you try to open more than one account, they'll cite you for abuse and remove you permanently.
