As the name indicates...this RPG will revolve around Crossroads and New Beginnings.CrossroadsWe would like to see characters come to a 'crossroads' in their lives where important and life changing decisions have to be made. These events can be very personal...i.e. a relationship beginning, ending or changing, or they can be moral or spiritual. Whatever is decided, they should show 'growth' for your character.New BeginningsThis can be any number of items as well and most likely will relate back to the 'crossroads' in your character(s)' life or lives and/or career. They may be starting a new career as teacher or student at Xavier's School for the Gifted or may have been selected to train for the upcoming X-Men team(s). Their 'new beginning' once again may be as simple as establishing a new relationship or changes in an old one.

Imitation of LifeWho: Stacy X

Where: Stacy X's Room
When: Noon
Warning Minor Sexual Allusion and Minor Language
After Stacy's deep conversation with her new...friend, if that even convered their relationship...she was very apt to hide herself away in her room. If they kept up with these chance meetings she was going to tell him everything there was to know about Stacy X. And let's be honest, that story was NOT something that he wanted to hear...Stacy herself didn't even want to hear it; and it was hers to keep for all time.
Changing out of her wet clothes she set them in a purple bin that was used to hold laundry. In there were a few things that never got washed from X-Ranch and would be thrown out...sheer lace brassiere and matching "shorts", a piece of lingere that could've passed for a deformed glove and several sets of fishnet stockings. It was obvious that a hooker lived here. Ahem, pardon, former hooker.
Stacy was now wearing a dress...well...sort of. It looked like something out of the 50s, used for her clients that paid the extra 200 dollars for roleplay situations. Her one client enjoyed playing the horny teenager while she was the modest school girl. The skirt was plaid and fell to her knees but crinolin underneath made it flare out. The top was a man's bussiness shirt tied at her abdomen to show off just a sliver of her stomach.
It was time now to start weeding out what was inappropriate to wear around children. The first ensemble was just crude: black, silken...crotchless. Throwing into a large trash bag that she had found under the sink in the bathroom, she began pulling more things out. The first things that went were lingere, lace, leather and stringy things were tossed into the bag. Next came tops, she tossed out a few tube tops looked like shoestrings. Most of her pants were okay...the two pairs that she owned. One was torn and ripped but hey, that was all the fashion these days, and the others were brand new, tags still on and everything; they had leather patches on the butt, but Stacy didn't mind...that was mild compared to what she had already gotten rid of.
Finally, she came upon the last article...the full length black dress, gloves and veil she had worn to her friend's funeral. It was clean, which Stacy marveled at...she hadn't touched the thing since the funeral. Maybe one of the girls had felt bad for her and cleaned it. Staring down at, she let her fingers run down the silk. "Aw fuck," She looked toward the sky and sighed. "God, if yer up there...an' I may well be talkin' ta myself...but if ya are, could I please ask fer a miracle."
Noticing that she wasn't doing it correctly, Stacy quickly dropped to her knees and rested her elbows on the bed with her hands folded. "I know I don' deserve one causea' all tha things I've done. But I hope ya at least got a little pleasure outta watchin'..." She opened her eyes and swore bitterly, "Aw fuck, I shouldn' be kiddin' wit' God." She berated herself before closing her eyes again. "I wan' things ta be different this time...I don' wan' ta watch Shen die tha' way Marguerite did. Tha' wasn' fair...ya shoulda punished me, no' her."
Taking a deep breath, "I ain' tryin' ta tell ya how ta do yer job or anythin'...but this time, please don' let Shen suffer tha way she did. Don' take another person away from me tha' likes me fer who I am...I don' find tha' often." Thanks to you, she muttered. "So...if it ain' too taxin on ya...please. I swear, I'll give ya anything. I'll never have sex again if it'll make ya happy..." Biting her lip, she felt bad tricking God...no, she'd never have sex again; sex was meaningless and worthless and made her feel dirty, making love was what she was going to be doing from now on. As romantic as it sounded, it was her goal.
Who: Mana With: Stacy X eventually. When: Noon, Sunday, May 14th, 2006 Where: Mana’s Room to Hallways to Stacy’s Room.
Opening her eyes rather quickly, she looked around, noting the ceiling first before anything else. “What?” she whispered, “Where…” then she sat up, eyes falling on the phone that’d fallen on the floor beside the bed. “Oh, yeah,” she realised, smiling to herself. She’d only intended to lie down and rest her head, the slight headache she'd had since waking up earlier this morning, worsening to the point where she'd just wanted to close her eyes for a couple minutes. Really, she wasn't surprised she'd fallen asleep, the stress of having to choose between staying to help her family at the mansion, or going home to help her family in Colorado Springs, causing her to have the headache in the first place. It was no one's fault, it was just her... she tended to stress a little too much at times, and being an Empath didn't help matters much either.
She yawned, stretching her arms up above her head as far as they would go, bringing her legs around to touch the floor and stand her up. It wasn’t long before she disappeared into the adjacent bathroom to freshen up, brush her hair, and all that stuff one has to do after they have woken up, however short the sleep had been, and, it was as she was looking at herself in the mirror that she began to think about the conversation she’d had with Stacy the day before. The two of them hadn’t spoken or seen each other much since then, so Mana thought it was time to go try and find her, see how she was settling in. and maybe be an ear to listen once again.
It made sense that one of the first places to check for a person was the private space of their room, so the pyrokinetic healer headed that way, her eyes having already checked out and verified that she wasn’t in any of the other open rooms on the way. Reaching the door, she, of course, knocked, choosing not to call out in case Stacy too was having a nap.
Summary: Mana wakes up, falling asleep after the phone call with her mother about not going home that afternoon. While she is freshening up, she decides it is time to go see how her new friend, Stacy, is settling in.

Warning Mildly Worded Descriptions of Bioloical Functions and Minor Sexual Content
After Stacy's sincere--albiet sarcastic--prayer to God, she pulled her knees up to her chest and leaned against the bed. Things had been so different in her life since she met Shen. Okay, maybe it was the fact that she was no longer a valued employee at a brothel. Either way, things were looking up and that made her feel a lot better about herself.
The mirror in the corner of the room reflected her image. Instead of looking away immediately to avoid looking at the copper scales that lined her body. The snake-like skin wasn't slimy or cold, rather the opposite, she was smooth and warm all over. She had no hair on her body except for her head and even around her most sensitive feminine areas she was covered in scales. Some men found her disgusting...the ones who had no vision (and obviously had never touched her); others found her erotic in every possible way...and had no problem paying her exorbitant fee.
Her hair was thick and black; often times she found herself playing with it when she was nervous or bored. There was a certain quality to her face and the shape of her eyes that made it obvious that she had some oriental origins...perhaps her parents were Asian professors at Yale and Harvard and couldn't care for a child. Maybe that's why they threw her away. Sighing heavily, she looked away from the mirror. A gentle knocking on the door was a welcome distraction.
Standing up, she opened the door. There was Mana, her first friend here at the mansion. "Hey, c'mon in." Stacy stood back, allowing her in. "Eh,I'm sorry fer tha clutter...I was jus' doin' some spring cleanin'." Yeah...that's why there was 2000 dollars worth of lingere on the floor.

OOC: Stacy can't go out unless her entire body is covered because of how she looks so I'm not sure. New clothes ARE needed though, LMBO.
Re: Imitation of LifeWho: Mana With: Stacy X When: Noon, Sunday, May 14th, 2006 Where: Stacy’s Room.
Mana’s smile broadened when Stacy opened the door, “Hey Stace, glad ya in,” she said, leaning her head to the side at the sight of all the lingerie on the floor, “What…” and then Stacy informed her of why it was there before she could even ask the question, "Eh,I'm sorry fer tha clutter...I was jus' doin' some spring cleanin', Mana had to laugh at the explanation, kneeling down to pick up a rather gorgeous purple full bikini-like set, “Oh man, if only I was your size!” she quipped, grinning at her, “Look at some of this stuff.”
Brown eyes roaming over the stash, it suddenly occurred to Mana where this type of lingerie could have been used, and what the real reason behind why she was throwing it out might be, “Ah, okay, so, you want me to grab a garbage bag or something? Are you giving it to charity or just throwing it in the bin?” the healer asked, not too sure what to say about it all.
Moving to start gathering the underwear into a neater pile, something of habit for the young woman, Mana’s thoughts tried not to picture the things Stacy might have been put through while wearing some of this stuff, images in her head kept away from the new telempathic link they shared. “Ya know, Stace, despite what you may think, going to the mall to buy some new clothes is not totally out of the question,” she suddenly said, thinking that a whole new wardrobe would work wonders for the whole new girl she knew her friend was trying to be.
Summary: Mana reacts to Stacy’s scattered lingerie, finally letting her know that going to the mall is not totally out of the question.

With: Mana, Open
When: Noon, Sunday, May 14th, 2006
Where: Stacy's Room
OOC: Whoops, the clothes are already in a bag but I'll work with it, lol. No problemo
Mana was such a nice girl, Stacy liked her a lot and she had only known her for a day (if even that). She had a manner about her...calm, friendly, outgoing. She put Stacy at ease. “Hey Stace, glad ya in,”“What…” Looking down, she noticed that in her fury to get rid of anything that was lace, crotchless, satin or could be used for anything sexual, she missed the bag several times. If Stacy had normal skin, she'd be blushing as red as a rose. “Oh man, if only I was your size!”“Look at some of this stuff.”
But Mana didn't seem to mind. "Well, I dunno, ya cen take whatever ya wan'. I don' care...I jus' don' wanna have it here, reminindin' me anymore." She seemed to understand that much, “Ah, okay, so, you want me to grab a garbage bag or something? Are you giving it to charity or just throwing it in the bin?” Bending down to pick up some of the lost items she shrugged. "I got a bag...it's...it's jus' a little full, tha's all." FINE, okay...it was overflowing with naughty outfits and stringy...things. "I dunno if tha' Salvation Army is allowed ta sell this stuff. But I'll donate it t' em'. If they cen sell it, then I'll be doin' em' a favor."
Fingering one of the outfits, she shook her head. "This stuff was really expensive." Luckily, X-Ranch footed the bill. If Stacy had paid for half of this stuff, she'd be so far in debt that she'd never get out. Tying off the bag, she heaved the heavy thing to the corner. “Ya know, Stace, despite what you may think, going to the mall to buy some new clothes is not totally out of the question,” Looking up at Mana, Stacy shrugged. "Yeh...I could go out in full robes er...wear onea them Muslim garbs...but...I don' have enough money fer any new things anyway. Looks like I'll hafta make do wit' what I got until I get some fabric."
Smirking, she shurgged her shoulders. "I cen make my own clothes...I jus need tha' fabric en' some thread an' stuff. My friend Margeurite taught me how." That was something that nobody knew about Stacy X...suddenly, something clicked in her brain. "I got an idea..." She said, smirking. Opening the bag again, she made a showy movement of it. "Lookie 'ere, instant fabric!"

b]Who[/b]: Mana With: Stacy X When: Noon, Sunday, May 14th, 2006 Where: Stacy’s Room "Well, I dunno, ya cen take whatever ya wan'. I don' care...I jus' don' wanna have it here, reminindin' me anymore, those words made Mana nod her head, chuckling, even as she said, “I bet you don’t,” as the size of one Stacy X was far smaller than her big built body, there was no way she’d ever be able to slide herself into any of the rather gorgeous fashions being thrown out. "I got a bag...it's...it's jus' a little full, tha's all… I dunno if tha' Salvation Army is allowed ta sell this stuff. But I'll donate it t' em'. If they cen sell it, then I'll be doin' em' a favor,” Mana was a little taken aback by the amount of clothes already stuffed in the bag she had only just noticed thanks to Stacy pointing it out to her. “Gosh,” was all she said, as way of showing her shock.
Only half hearing Stacy’s comment about the whole muslim garb, she stood back up, having been caught by the sheer niceness of some her new friend’s clothes, “Ah,” she let her brain try and process what she had fully said, suddenly clicking, “Oh, Stacy, sweetie, we do have ways of those with more obvious mutations being able to go out,” she offered, before her friend explained that she could make her own clothes, excitement suddenly coming into her tone, "Lookie 'ere, instant fabric!" Now Mana did allow herself to laugh outright, grinning at her, “Well, there ya go… we don’t even have to leave the grounds. All we gotta do is find a sewing machine,” she told her, still laughing a little.
Summary: Mana is pleased Stacy doesn’t even have to leave the mansion grounds to get herself some great new clothes.

Re: Imitation of LifeWho: Stacy X
With: Mana, Open
When: Noon, Sunday, May 14th, 2006
Where: Stacy's Room
Warning: Sexual Content
Stacy smiled weakly as Mana spoke. "I bet you don’t,” It was difficult to explain hooking to someone who had never done it before. There was just so little intimacy...sure, she had been unclothed and so had her clients, but there was no passion, no heat...just her power-created orgasms. And she could let her clients go for hours by themselves just by touching them with her baby finger. There was no love lost for any of them...
That's why it was better to get rid of the things that reminded her of that. She had good things to look forward too in her life. “Ah,”“Oh, Stacy, sweetie, we do have ways of those with more obvious mutations being able to go out,” Stacy couldn't help but laugh, "Yeh, I ain' lookin' ta git' killed. I seen them cameras outside an' tha' big ol' jet plane on tha' front lawn. I ain' takin' my chances...not today." No, that was true. On her way backin from the lake she had seen them amassing down the lane. Stacy didn't feel like getting lynched at that very moment...maybe later.
Besides, now all she had to do was take some seams out of the clothes and she's be good to go. “Well, there ya go… we don’t even have to leave the grounds. All we gotta do is find a sewing machine,” "I'm sure I cen rustle summat up. Fer now I'll jus make do..." With two pairs of pants and one shirt. Yep.
Turning, she sighed. It had taken a lot of her energy to put all those clothes away plus, Stacy had not eaten yet today. A dull ache in her belly told her it was time to get some food. Smiling, she tossed her hair. "I'm gunna rustle up some food, all this packin' has made me hungry. And, Stacy had every intention of bringing Shen up some food as well.
Background: Many, many years ago, Charles Francis Xavier established Xavier's School for the Gifted. Also, seeing other Mutants misusing and abusing their powers, he created the first generation of the X-Men.This original team was trained and lead by an old friend of his...Logan, aka Wolverine. Logan's co-leader was a young woman and student named Ororo Munroe, aka Storm. Once the team was trained and fielded on active missions, they took on the additional responsibility of teaching and helping new Mutants deal with their powers. On one horrible night, the X-Men were fielded to stop a particularly powerful Mutant and his 'gang'. The 'intelligence' received on this Mutant and his cohorts was sketchy and actually turned out to be a set-up to entrap the X-Men and take them captive. In the ensuing melee', 'things' happened and a number of the team were killed outright or severely injured. After making sure his remaining team-mates were going to be okay, Logan left. Xavier has not, to current time, explained his absence or even whether or not he survived.Current Time/Game Time: Almost seven years later, as Human/Mutant incidents are on the rise, Xavier once again sees a need for a Mutant 'police force'. He sees this new X-Men team as a force for good and a way to help peacefully integrate the rapidly emerging Mutant society with the established Human society. To this end, he has contacted Logan and asked him to 'come home' and train his 'new' team.
Logan has reluctantly agreed. Can shadows from their past be put aside for the good of the new X-Men? How will the surviving members of the original team react and what will they do as 'truths' are learned about that disastrous night?Note: We want the new X-Men to include younger versions of the old familiar characters such as Scott, Jean, Beast etc...as well as many of the OCC’s and other Canon characters that are available. Please ask the Staff BEFORE stating or establishing that your character was one of the old, now disbanded, original X-Men.
