It was so heartbreaking when Gabby died.
Just watching Al's reaction to losing his mother was so hard to watch. Plus the fact that he can't completely let out his feelings cause it wouldn't make sense for Michael to be grieving over her death like that. I know that Al and Gabby were really close which probably made it that much harder to deal with. NM did a tremendous job, as usual, with everything especially with that scene in the hallway at the palace, I really felt Al's pain in that scene.
Also, even though Al came to his senses in the end, we got to see more of the prince that Al is when he was willing to give up what he fought so very hard for just to save his mother.

Natalie: "Al, when are you gonna realize that love isn't supposed to be this hard? When it's meant to be, it just happens."
Al: "Oh, whatever, in what fairy tale?"
It was and I loved Al's response, but H-E-L-L-O! Does anybody else think we still didn't see Gabs properly mourned for? After the amazing scenes she did during Al's sickness and death that is the best they could come up w/ for FH? What a load of crap!
By the way, i want to punch Bo in the face. I just sooo do not believe him as lving Gabs. Just dont and never did.

it was very sad and i hope they will have some kind of memorial for her but my guess is they won't.
Oh definitely, Gabby does deserve a better sendoff
I completely agree. I was very disappointed in the way that they chose to "end" Gabby. You'd think they could have given FH a more dignified ending than to have get killed by a serial killer that previously only had killed minor characters (if that). Especially with the tremendous material that Fiona has given us while being on OLTL, in particular those scenes while Al was in the hospital and after he died. I would think that Gabby at least deserved to depart in the same way Max so that she could still return in the future if necessary. I'm sure they could have come up with something creative, like having her testify or something and then they have to put in witness protection. That could have worked. But now that they chose this road, you'd at least think she deserves some type of memorial service or something but you're probably right Amy, they most likely won't do that either.
