It's so frustrating that we lost some really good stuff...
Now we still don't know if posts are gonna be restored but if they aren't then that sucks big time cause it means that we've lost more than a year of posts. It looks we are able to post new posts though which is a good thing.

All the stuff in the Announcements folder is gone which included the DNMF list and the birthday list. I started new posts for both of those. Fortunately I was able to go into the member list of the forum and check member titles to figure out who most of the DNMF #s belong too but I am still missing a couple. Also, I forgot most of the birthdays(even though there wasn't many there) on the list.

We lost all of our Fun & Games folder too which means we lost Battle of the Sexes. I was really enjoying that game too. It will probably be best just to go back to the beginning and start the game over from scratch. what do you all think? It also sucks that we lost our little 5 word Michael Fan Fiction story too. I'll have to set up a new one for that but we should probably call it something different.

btw, Laura, Amy and Dawn...I gave you all moderator privilages at the forum. It's not really a big deal, I just wanted to have some extra protection around here for when Brittany or I aren't around. Really the only difference is that you can do things with posts such as...stick/unstick, open/close, move, delete, etc. I hope that you don't mind.

Jen :)

Cool with me!

Hey Laura...ya just kinda wing it. I am a mod at Rodi's and didn't know squat LOL. Just kinda look around for the options on what you want to do...it is usally pretty easy to figure out.

Yeah, I feel for ya....
I lost my entire community and nearly two and half years worth of fan fiction, archives and about 40,000 posts. I'm trying to rebuild now.

As I mentioned in the other post, it does look like some things have been restored it's just that all the posts are jumbled up and not in the right order. I found this message on page 2.

You should see a little checkbox next to each topic and if you scroll down to the end of the page you should see a drop-down menu with the options stick, unstick, delete, etc. so, if you wanted to delete a post, for example, you'd check the checkbox next to that topic and then select delete in the drop-down menu.

It's really just precaution in case someone were to come and post something inappropriate and Brittany and I weren't around one of you ladies could delete the post.

I checked the Fun & Games folder earlier and it looks like at least most of the fan fic was restored, not all of it but a good portion of it. and I'm definitely gonna start up Battle of the Sexes again.
