It's soooo frustrating - but also so very funny!
I have decided to start a thread where people can share the most horrible posts, bios ect. All for the fun of it.

After all, if one isn't the moderator who has to deal with it, they can be really funny.

Re: It's soooo frustrating - but also so very funny!
Here is a post that I came across today on a large discussion forum for a planned LOTR online game:

spelling true. sorry i dont really care, if u can read it fine if not, fine. i know there are intelligent people out there. where i was going was

1 yes a mmorpg should work like that. but no one does
think swg was the closest(havent played all)
wow is just grinding creatures for xp and when u get it
u cant go over lvl 60
if u put a stop like that, u cant be raising lvl every hour
or, this is what i mean. make people think insted of just grinding, make it personal. maby singel player quests that only a dwarf with the right alligment and bling bling can find when hes exploring. or just find something odd, that u cant figure out and later in the game, make the ah,thats what its for.u must be able to find rare resoursers things or places
swg had a great resours grindig system but, if u found lets say high qual, copper every one got it, insted of have a small region that only u could find with the right skill.
and plz, dont let people be able to do thing that they dont have the skill for, like in swg when anyone could find copper without having the artisan skill.
short words make the game so that we have 3 million different (induvidiual lol ) players. insted of like in swg,u are a wookie with wookiearmour and a big gun with the same stats that every other wookie has,and u cant go your one way. same in wow.

This was after someone stood up and pointed out that his posts might be easier to read with a functioning shift key, some punctuation, grammar...

And please don't ask me what he says, because I haven't figured that out yet.

And here is a bio that is so horrible you have to love it. The application was posted in a group that I knew, shortly before it died:

Name of Player: Jamie

Name of Character: Yula(nickname: ulee)

Age of Character: 15

Race: half elf

Gender: female

Appearance (Clothing etc.): Usually wears white or red dresses and
lots of jewelary, cloak and bow and arrows

Personality: Kind, sweet, kinda shy, keeps to herself but a
passionette fierce warrior

Occupation: ?

Relationships: no realtions anymore

Weapons/Talents/Armor: Great at archery, throwing knives and
horsebackriding, also hand to hand combat without weapons

Good/Evil: good

History: mostly a wonderer

Anything Else: nope

Comment: No, I forgot to ask what she keeps wondering about.

It has been a while since this appeared, and I think that the player (like most do) has learned the art a bit more. But it's still a fun thing to remember.

Re: It's soooo frustrating - but also so very funny!

Alas, I keep no archive of these things, but a couple of weeks ago I was invited to join a quality Tolkien board set in second age. I couldn’t join it because lack of time but visited it. These are some examples of what I found out there:

Name: Estelwen (Elvish meaning for female hope)
Age: 2100 (Elvish years normally 21 referred to)
Race: A high elf(Imaldris)
Description: Estelwen is a great desendant of many fiar valar people. She is as a pretty as both Undomiel and Luthien etc... she see's herself as a helper to all good. Her personality is kind, shy, gentle, swift and wise. She has raven like hair a dark dark brown and the greyist of all eyes that sparkle with the light of the Imaldris... She believes in hope (like Arwen LOL) and her trust falls into it.. This is where her wisdom comes from.
History:
Estelwen is a fiar maiden of high elvis race. She has dwelt in many elven homes.. and has many friends in both men, dwarves, hobbits, elves and all other races in Middle Earth except evil. She is a gifted horse rider, talented with both sword and arrow, though she will not fight... only if it is to be foretoldin her future... in which she can see (she can only see what she will do...)
She stands up for what she believes although she can seem a little shy at times... she is still very fair...... to all in Middle Earth even if she dislikes them,.....

Nolen comment’s: Does anyone know what ‘fiar’ means, please? :? She mentioned it twice. Fair? Or is it any race of another fantasy world?

Name: Symbianne or Ominesis.
Gender: Female
Race: Maia and Elf guard
Age: 1800 (18 normal count lol)
Weaponry:She is keen with the bow and may shoot even three arrows in one shot; she has two swords like the ones of Legolas which were a gift from Imladris, she was taught to use them as a good samurai she was and a bigger sword like the one of Arwen (lol) a gift from Mothlond a long ago. And carries a small dagger she inherited. She has no staff for she needs none and barely uses her magic, only in case needed.
Biography: (Her phisical appearance can be seen in the banner and avie.
She was born in Lothlórien a long time ago and as she grew up she pledged to aid anyone allied to the good cause of the free lands and since her parents had a noble end she walks from here to there looking for a place to stay and do good to all that surround her.
She was taught the ways into the samurai knowledge by one of her brothers in South Ithilien and is curious to know about the other cultures that is why she reads too much.
She loves writing poetry and meditating about anything that happens in her life for she knows everything has a "why?"

Nolen comment’s: From the very moment I did read this, I dream to play Faramir-San.

Name: Morgoth or Melkor
Height: Realy High
Age: unknown
Weapons: Everything he see. He use most a mace who is called Grond.
Homeland: Angband
History:
The history to Morgoth is big and darkfoul.
He is Valar who become evil. He will always try to brake the good in Middle Earth. He was a elf but he betrayed them. Many of the Noldos followed him, they became sooner Uruk Hai. His first fortress was Utumno but later he left and bild Angband, North in Middle Earth.
From there he sits and try to find a way to destroy the good one time for all.

Nolen’s comments: *no comments*

Name: Haldir
Age: Very old
Weapons: elven sword and bow.
Location: Lothlorien
Race: elf.
History: unknown

Nolen’s comments: The shortest apply I ever read.

I decided to include a log of one the rped scenes (honestly, the only one I did read). Did I mention the board was set in the Second Age?:

The Palace of Gondolin is on a top of the city. The palace is white and on the top of the palace it is a tower maked of Gold. Inside Fingolfin sits on his gold throne and rule his stronghold.

Symbianne rode for a long time until she reached Gondolin in search of it's ruler. She then entered the palace and asked the main guard for directions, she was led into the throneroom and she bowed and said*Lord Fingolfin I wish to make an alliegance with thee so I came from the Greenwoods.*

"And I accept that." He smiled.

She smiled and said*I thank thee for accepting.*She then took out an something she brought with her which was covered with elvish charm, she took off the velvet and have him an ancient dagger saying* It was found long ago and I thought it would resemble well the alliegances between our race.*

"I gladly take it. My it be a symbol on our to kingdoms who stand together."

She nodded and said*If you ever need aid or anything call upon Mirkwood and we will come.*

"I shall remember that." He smiled.

She smiled and bowed then she said*Namarië for now.*She then left the throneroom.

"Namarie."

Nolen's comments: Really the girl tried to rp :P But Fingolfin should meet Haldir and to have a scene together.

Oh, I had heard people say that Elvis is alive, but I hadn't figured he went to Middle Earth.

As far as I can see she meant 'fair', yes.

...oh, and it seems we have a supergirl who is Maia, and elf, ...and somehow the Samurai invaded Middle Earth.
... and someone please tell her that Legolas uses a knife?

I must to say I loved this the more:

(Speaking of Morgoth) "He was a elf but he betrayed them. Many of the Noldos followed him, they became sooner Uruk Hai."

Boy, I had heard of fëanorians acting as orcs, but this is too much...
