It's too hot out there for a cat
.... 111 and the same in the shade. Outside feels like a blast fan blowing the hot air.
And doing tech support over the phone for my Dad so he can have DSL on his computer with his home page and email restored. And one loony sister alternately crying/screaming/yelling about it not working and it being so hot and giving me a sermon on never never change anything on old people. Good thing I do customer service as part of my job. Stay calm. Keep the peace.
So after 20 minutes of listening to my sister over the phone, I asked if she was light-headed from the heat. And maybe she should go to the basement quick before she passes out. Good strategy!!
Grab a cold refill on my chai latte tea and walk dear ol Dad through the steps to restore his webpage and email. Done in 15 minutes. He is a good follower of directions!
Sister comes back up (oh why???) and is annoyed that we are done, everything works, Dad is a happy camper and is amazed at the speed of the internet. She starts again. Love and air kissies to my Dad and we hang up.
Yikes! That is waaay too hot hon! Where are you again? One of those "dry heat" areas? All I know is this Chicago humidity stinks, no wait- that must be ME from sweating my arse off! I feel for ya hon!

I am supposed to be living in paradise!! I live in Morgan Hill, outside of San Jose, CA. Hottest I have seen it out here.
Only one feral cat figured out that we have air-conditioning for part of the house and it is good thing. He slept a lot indoors and was quite content.
Yeah, I remember humidity, Malinae. I am from Cleveland, OH. Like being in a sauna all day. Parents didn't have air-conditioning so we had to move out to have it!!
and with the garlic festival coming up, trust me, I can't smell ya!!

90 or so in seattle.
Not as bad as out there but for here it's pretty hot and we're miserable.
It's not usually humid here but it's really bad. I tried to shave this morning with my electric shaver which is all I have and it just doesn't cut it (muahahahha, I'm so bad). It's like I took the blades out. Hmm, the weather page says the humidity is 33 percent. Feels like 85.
