Congrats to The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, as well as, the director Peter Jackson for their Golden Globe wins. This was 3 years in the making. Bring on the Oscars, and LOTR's 11 noms.
Jen, how did u like the show??
i LOVED it. And i Clayverted(LOL) my friend who went with me.
Clay's voice was perfect last night, i love their backup singers, and Kelly was rockin' out . I don't think i have enjoyed a whole show as much as this one. They all seem to have a good chemistry. It was just great. the only downside is that he didnt sing, my 2 fave Clay songs: Solitair and Run to Me.
But oh well. I hear he is gonna add some dates later and i hope so cuz i will definately go see all of them again.
Loved it!! Both Clay and Kelly were awesome!
I would have liked better seats cause mine weren't all that great but it was wonderful all the same. Clay was excellent, his voice sounded as good as ever. and really how many guys his age can get away with dressing the way he does and still look hot! I don't know his songs as well as I'd like yet but I was still singing along. I loved when he brought that loved when he brought that little girl on the stage and when he did that whole talking on the phone thing. and loved the lighting effect on the stage especially when they had it purple.
Kelly was awesome too, loved how she played the guitar for a couple of songs, that was cool. my fave part of her performance was probably when she did "Beautiful Disaster" with just the piano.
and I loved when Clay came out at the end of the Kelly's part for the duet. I knew they were gonna do one, I just didn't know when it was gonna happen or what they were gonna sing.
I was really impressed with the backup singers too, they did an amazing job.
I got a couple of keychains, one of Kelly and one of Clay just to have something from the show.

Re: Loved it!! Both Clay and Kelly were awesome!
I am glad u had a good time too! It was hard not to tho rite? He had me from the opening. I read a heap of concert reviews before seeing the show and later feared that i had ruined it for myself. but u have to see him to get a true feel for how fabulous he was. He was vocally better than most of the clips i saw of him.
I loved Beautiful Disaster, but Miss Independent and the slow version of Low are my fave Kelly songs. I read so much criticism of her from the Clay boards, but she was frickin great so i dont know what the heck they were talking about!
Oh and i forgot before. When he opend w/ Kyrie? He walkd rite past my row!! i was a couple of people over, but i am sure i got some good pics and will email them to u if u like.
Re: Loved it!! Both Clay and Kelly were awesome!
yeah, even with the kinda crappy seats that I had I still enjoyed it. I'm soo envious of you, btw. I thought that you might have been down where he came from but I wasn't sure. I'd love to see any pics that you got. I didn't bring a camera cause I didn't think that I would have been able to get much of anything from where I was sitting.
From what you say about some Clay fans, they sound really stupid. I mean how can you not like Kelly, she's awesome.
Both Kelly and Clay are just amazing vocalists and performers. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing them again in concert.
