I just heard at the NM Yahoo group.. OMG! This was SO not about Nathaniel.. all those so called insiders.. what a JOKE! This is about Micheal Easton.. I'll just BET! I want to ruin the guy and I don't even know him!

I'll have to go through my messages in my mail. That sucks big time. But I had a feeling that it would happen unfortunately cause Marcie doesn't really have any town connections except to Al, a couple of others kinda but not really. Geez, nevermind putting us in the loony bin. Those people at ABC and OLTL need to be put there and quick. They are getting rid of all the talent on the show. First Nate and then Kathy and who knows who else. I don't care who they are bringing in, he's not gonna be able to carry the show if there is little to back him up.

I don't feel AS bad about Kathy because she just got the lead in HAIR, I think it is.. she's such a talented actress, and she already has that to fall back on. If I knew Nathaniel had something too, I'd feel better about it. And since there's so many cuts, I don't need to speculate about whether someone did something wrong backstage. This is about the show making stupid decisions about where to spend the money, and stupid theories about how to get new viewership.... (that a word?)
I just don't have much heart for the show. I've been friends with the Kassie DePaiva fan bunch for 9 years so I'm trying to hang in with them, as I do enjoy Trevor's Walker somewhat.. but I have a feeling that I'll fall away from the show. Its just not as interesting without Al. Al really was the key point of interest for me these days. I'm trying to see the show as a vehicle of discussion among old friends, even the younger crowd storyline for you NMO girls... keeping my viewership may be more detrimental for the show than losing it though, because I will end up trashing everyone on boards because I'm among the fans the show didn't care about... yada yada. If they kept Nathaniel, it would be more than enough for me to be happy though despite their dumb choices.
I won't promote OLTL in any way shape or form while they spin their wheels trying to get new viewers by losing the old ones... and being without Al. If I end up writing more fan fiction.. after I finish Al Heaven... it will based on Nathaniel's other characters.. in movies or what not. That would be a trip, huh?
I'm just beside myself that it happened right before the luncheon... because so many people didn't get to meet these actors before like I did at SSW. I really am lucky in that way. I had my moment unlike these ladies. I'm mainly at the Luncheon to have fun with the girls, see the DePaivas and Trevor (Walker) who weren't at SSW, and originally, to see Nathaniel again obviously, even though that probably won't happen. Would have been nice to show him the before picture and let him see how va va voom I am now because of him though.

yeah I don't feel as bad about Kathy either cause I know she has Hairspray and is well known in the broadway community that she'll be fine with that. and your right at least we know that there wasn't something going on backstage since they are making so many cuts. It's just not the right people that they are cutting.
I too will probably become less interested in the show, definitely will not be the say without Al there. However, I will continue to watch but perhaps won't be as concerned if I miss a episode and not go out of my way to watch on soapnet if I miss something. Also, I will continue to make screen caps for Brittany as long as she continues to do her sites.
And you're right that it sucks that they made all these changes before the luncheon. It's definitely gonna be a different attitude there than it would have been. It sucks for those people who didn't get to go to SSW who were planning to see their faves at the luncheon and now may not be able to see them(depending on who it is of course).
