I voted for The Beatles, since I think they'll be remembered much longer than the other bands. Their music was original, innovative and had an immense impact on popular culture.

Am I the only person in the forum old enough to have had a Beatle? Um, I really need to think of another way to phrase that question!

Everyone had *their* Beatle - the one they most admired. Mine was George, because he was the youngest and the prettiest.

(Hey, there's a lot to be said for being shallow!)

Fiona, I know that the local college radio stations here play Coldplay, but I can't remember the names of any of their songs. Can you help out an old lady's memory here? What are some of their more popular songs?

i think Beatles is nice

though i'm more of a BeeGees fan...

i voted for the Corrs...coz...i just don't think i want to vote for Beatles and the Corrs is the only one left

...i've heard a few of their songs...great

Coldplay have songs called 'Yellow', 'The Scientist', and 'In My Place' which are the only ones I can think of right now so Fi can tell you the rest. They are brilliant although I like Badly Drawn Boy as well!

Coldplay had a debut album called "Parachutes" - songs like "Yellow" and "Trouble" are probably the best known :D

I love the beatles too, but Coldplay would have to be my all-time favourite.
