Last night's eppy 10/10/03
The more I watch the show, the more I like it. I like that they are portraying that each person's relationship with God is different and private. That's the way I believe it is. I like that they seem committed to keeping the show "real." I was afraid at first that they might suddenly cure Joan's other brother by making him walkagin like TV shows often do. I think dealing with the real issues of being disabled is a much better way to go. The only thing that bugs me is the opening credits, they should have used the original Joan Osborne song and not a remake (if they thought they really had to use that song) I think ir's a little cheesy given the context of the show. I don't feel you need to state the obvious "What if God was one of us." I think you get that right of the bat by watching the show. JMO
I really liked last nights episode, but then again I like all of them so far, lol. But I really like when we get to see more of the Kevin/disablity storyline and how it not only effects him but everyone around him, and I really like the Kevin/Joan scenes. Oh and I was glad that Grace and Adam were back, I was afraid it they would just disappear never to be mentioned again. ... kind of like her bookstore job.
