The show made the fatal mistake of killing off Leslie in the middle 1970s.

And, the show was never the same. That was the beginning of the show's death.

I vowed on the day that Leslie died that I would never watch the show again. And, except for a few months when Frances Fisher was playing Suzette Saxon, I have not!
