Levoisier (Rex) is just lucky...
I'm DONE with playing NICEY NICE. I was sick of all the silly wars and came back to my online world with a new attitude... to praise everyone... and never go to places like Mediadomain... well BAUGH! Sitting around here and thinking of sweet Marcal kisses is not gonna cut it when there are points to be made.

Levoisier got LUCKY cast in a role that allowed him to be the bad boy. I got nothing against the guy, and I'm not saying he's a bad actor or anything like that, but he's NOT a memorable wolf of Llanview, no way, no how. I'll just BET Malone is drooling at the thought of the new up and coming wolf in Llanview... but he casted the wrong creep to his vision! Okay, he's got a job and experience in these things, but I'm telling you here and now, that he is WRONG WRONG WRONG!

There are PLENTY of other actors who know how to make a Llanview wolf memorable... look at Trevor St. John's Walker. And I still have to give Roger credit for doing that well too, even though he didn't have the range Nathaniel does.. being able to do both the prince and the creep.

Some, at say, Mediadomain, would say that no one liked Al until he was the prince, but I say this... When did Levoisier's Rex ever give you goosebumps? Its not Nathaniel's fault that his Al was not written in such a way that any live, breathing female fan of this show would think he was anything more than Jen's lap dog when he was written more darker... Thanks to Gary Tomlin and his people... no one had a decent vision of Al, other than to PROP Jen's story. What was the POINT of recasting just to let him twist in the wind? He wasn't the bad boy because, as Jen's lap dog, he had no spine with which to make the females in the audience melt... and it was a JOKE that he was written as having the audacity to try to intimidate anyone when he was written spineless. ONLY because Nathanie has TALENT did I enjoy his BAD BOY, out of context, backing Natalie up to the wall and sending CHILLS down my spine! THEN... THEN...Nathaniel was given a storyline that most actors wouldn't have been able to do ANYTHING with, and TURNED IT INTO memorable daytime television...

Its a testament to his TALENT that he has a huge MARCAL contingent who have his back! Who ELSE could have turned that sappy story into must see OLTL!!!!

Rex is written to not take Jen's garbage, and Jen is in a position to see him as a challenge... but just hit your snooze buttons people.. cuz ANY ACTORS worth a DIME could make that storyline hot.

Now.. imagine Nathaniel having such a character... Okay... I know.. were Marcalers... and you know Nate appreciates his fans, but he's GOT to knwo the REAL ticket was to play a bad boy.. he never got!!

And I've had a hard time figuring how to work with that, but its NOT impossible... That's what writing is about. YOu know.. my fan fiction has been stale because I couldn't write anything about MARCAL that's better than the show's versions.. when I originally set out to write Al and Jen, as a representation of how the characters COULD be worked..

Well, maybe I DO have a vision.. a much more creative one than Levoisier and Malone has about an up and coming wolf... that much I can tell you.

By the way.. let me introduce myself... seems the snark poster from years of onlining... is BACK, and taking no prisoners.

You know, a dream is like a river, ever changing as it flows
And the dreamer is just a vessel, that must follow where it goes
Trying to learn from what's behind you, and never knowing what's in store
And each day is a constant battle, just to stay between the shores
And I will sail my vessel, until the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind, these waters are my sky
I'll never reach my destination, if I never try
So I will sail my vessel, until the river runs dry
Too many times we stand aside and let the water flow away
What we put off until tomorrow, has now become today
So don't you sit upon the shoreline, and say you're satisfied
Choose to chance the rapids, and dare to dance the tides

I enjoy seeing your snarky self back (even if it WAS against my guy, Rex!!! :bluehat )

I think JPL has everything needed to pull off a :evildnmf .. We wouldn't want Al bad! I can't wait for Rex and Vickers to do scenes..... that'll be a hoot!

well I didn't know you back then...
but I'm glad to have you back. whether he knows it or not it looks like Nathaniel would be happy to have YOU on his side.

Most people didn't like Al before became the prince, that is true. But all that is responsible for that is the writing, it's not Nathaniel's fault that Al was written as "Jen's lap dog". If people would have looked past all that they definitely would have seen the talent that was there. I think somewhere in the back of my mind I did see that, I just didn't realize that I did. Not too many people would be able to pull off the character change that we've seen in Al and have it be believable.

ain't that the truth. even though I have been a fan of the sappy romances before, if all you see is that then it starts to get annoying. An example of this is Edmund and Maria on AMC, as soon as she got her memory back and they were all lovey dovey all the time it really got annoying but of course that is JMO. But with Marcal it would not bother me one bit if that's all they showed of these two. It's cause these two have amazing chemistry together and both are incredibly talented that makes it work. and the fan base wouldn't have grown so fast if that wasn't the case.

I hear ya on the fan fiction. There's no way that I could write marcal and have it be real different than what they done on the show. Which is why I took the different direction with my fiction.

Re: Lavoisier (Rex) is just lucky...
For example... Ever see the scene Al did with Jess (ET) when he was upset about Jen? Much more intense than Rexy boy, as bad as he is... something about Nathaniel that is that MOODY WOLF written all over it... ala Trevor or Roger...

Oh, and I wouldn't worry about the Marcal fans having a hard time with it... as long as he loves his gal... I'm sure we'd all love to see Al's darker edges...

Remember Brad anyone? Don't think that man would want to mess with Al... LOVED that scene...

And yup, you got it Jen... the fact that he turned this story into a fairytale with that goddess Kathy... testament to some SERIOUS talent... when Jessica and JPL have it soooooo much easier...

But Stephany... its fun to snark aint it?
Honestly, sweetie... got nothing against your man... makes a great bad boy... and hot to boot... Heck, lovin me some Dan Gauthier Kevin too... different kinds of bad boys.. and Eevil? She likes em all!

I like the moody intense ones... and I'm quite certain that Nathaniel is the ticket for that.. I've seen enough to actually be sure about it.. Just never caught on with the public because of bad writing... and I could cite the stuff... Tomlin really shouldn't have bothered unless he was clear on WHO Al was supposed to be, and if he was SUPPOSED to prop Jen.. then NO WONDER things got to this point.

Ok Stephany, where'd ya go? Tuc discussion ensues...
Eevil seems to be INCAPABLE of being on any bandwagons... sorry... I definitely hear the beat of my own drum...

I like Tuc.. always have... another beef I had with TIIC, letting THAT one go... hired to be bad boy, but ended up being Mr. Comedian... I say this.. he's a little STIFF for my tastes, as a tough guy... but as long as he's serving a purpose for the GRAND DAME Dorian Cramer AND also investing in a character (DAVID) I can invest in AT THE SAME TIME... and seeing as he is great in the comedy dept.. he has my FULL support.

Who I'd like to see him in a scene with though? Saw it already... Blair. My gal can PACK THAT PUNCH! I heard you about how Rex and David would be a scene, whereas Al and David would not.. but I respond... imagine Al being written the way I would have... NATHANIEL and TUC would MORE than fly... try SOAR.. If ONLY I could see the extent of Nathaniel's talent, cuz I haven't been wrong YET... with ALL my opinions of this show... One of the reasons I'm so obnoxious at times is cuz I'm freakin cocky I been right so much.

OT...
Char, I believe(I may be wrong on this) that Stephany is Brittany sister, I know she has a sister with that name anyways. Which as you know would explain her not being here. You can delete this when you read it.

Yes indeed, Stephany is my sister. So that's where she was... on the island with me. :banana I'll tell her to get her little butt back over here, though.
