Lovers & Friends/For Richer, For Poorer question
In my process for putting together a web page featuring broadcast schedules for all the soaps since 1951, I've found conflicting information about this series. Most information I've found says that its official NBC time was at 4pm following Another World. However, I've recently found some sources that state that the official air time is much earlier! I've seen Lovers & Friends listed at 12:30 pm and For Richer, For Poorer listed at 1pm. Which information is correct?

I don't know what your sources are but I suggest looking at the Encyclopedia of Daytime Television. They seemed to be good with the airdates.
However, since NBC increased Another World to a half hour I think that would help with the timeslot matter as well.

Where I lived,
Where I lived, Lovers and Friends aired in the morning. I don't think that it was opposite Search for Tomorrow, but thirty minutes earlier at 12:00 (11:00 Central, where I live).
But, For Richer For Poorer did not air here. But, I think that it had an afternoon timeslot - opposite The Edge of Night on ABC and possibly Love of Live on CBS.

Where I live in Tennessee Lovers & Friends and For Richer, For Poorer neither one ever came on. The Nashville stations have a bad tendency of not picking up some of the network soaps. The CBS stations doesn't but both the NBC and ABC affiliates have chosen not to air certain soaps. Port Charles is not shown here as far as I know. Now that we have SoapNet on our cable system here it can be seen. When it first came on they were showing it at 2:30 am but I think they have discontinued even that.
The NBC affiliate never showed FRFP or L&F. It also chose to cancel The Doctors long before it ended. The Doctors was one of my Mom's favorite shows. I loved it too and we both hated that we did not get to see the last year or so of it.
All the affiliates here love to change the scheduling around to air talk shows too. Such as CBS affilate is now airing As The World Turns at 3:00 pm CST after The Guiding Light. For awhile the NBC affiliate was also airing Days of Our Lives at the same time.
Anyway that went in a complete direction than I intended. I would have loved to have seen FRFP and L&F as I loved Nancy Marchand and Christine Jones -- both have always been favorites of mine.
