MEXICAN WEREWOLF IN TEXAS
Maverick Entertainment has announced that it will unleash MEXICAN WEREWOLF IN TEXAS on its CreepFX label January 9. Despite the title, the movie is not about lycanthropy but is instead another vehicle for the ever-popular south-of-the-border critter El Chupacabra, which crosses over into the Lone Star State and exacerbates existing tensions between the white and Mexican residents of a small town. Scott Maginnis wrote and directed, with the beast created by Monster FX; no extras have been announced, and the disc has a retail price of $16.98.
